We decided to stay, it was very peaceful with only a few fishing boats passing us. It got a little bumpy with the incoming tide as current was against the wind (10 Kts) but is wasn't an issue.

The winds, unfortunately, would build each afternoon out of the East and this would create a lot of chop in the mooring field. Not a big deal just makes for a wet dinghy ride back to the boat. The laundry room is very nice. The harbormaster, Daniel was very responsive to an issue I had with a washer.
Showers are pretty nice and definitely serve the purpose. I'm happy to see that there have been more restaurants that have opened in the area and are within walking distance. I even had some grocery items delivered by Walmart to the mooring field park. Definitely a convenient stop.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Very friendly and helpful dockhands, easy fueling and pump out at the dock. We had stopped for the pool, but unfortunately the weather turned cool for the couple of days we were there, next time.
There is a small c-store with limited snacks and sandwich fixings, beer and wine. The restaurant isn't open yet but they were working on it, hopefully next time we are there.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

The dock hands were ready when we pulled in and were very helpful about everything from the services at the marina to the places close by downtown. We will definitely stop here again.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

The office was less than helpful, and the boat yard never showed up for our appointment, nor did they call. We departed north and will be able get our work done somewhere else.

Took refuge here during the Noreaster and the staff couldn't have been better. They took as many boats as they possibly could to ride out the storm. Docks are very new and well built. Location is awesome. Close to many restaurants and shops. Laundry and bathrooms were a little far away but not bad. The lounge and bathrooms flooded due to the elevated water levels so the floor was always wet. Staff were trying to keep with all of the cleanliness but it was an extreme weekend of weather issues. Overall a great place.

This was not an intentional stop but we needed to make some repairs. The marina is very accommodating, it's a short walk to the historic district where several places give discounts. They have free bikes, a nice lounge, free washing machines and dryers. The dock side pump out is a bit expensive and the electric at .23/kwh is the most we have ever paid. Key West wasn't near as much. Very well protected from storms so ++

There was a strong north wind but we were able to pull in far enough to find some protection. Trips to the beach with the dogs worked out very well.

The reason behind the 2 star rating is based on the service department, they often (always) over promised and under delivered. I contacted them a week before arriving to make sure they could do the work I needed, I was assured it was no problem. When we arrived the service dept said they would be at the boat at 9 am the next morning, they showed at 1 pm and not to do any work, just review what was to be done, again. I was then told that they would be there the next morning, no one showed up until the following day where they worked on the boat for an hour. Then it was the following Monday when someone showed up again. I ended up cutting the work needed as a one day job took a week and the fees do add up.
As far as location, 5 star, bathrooms, showers were clean, pet friendly. The only draw back was internet was only available while sitting in the boaters lounge.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
