Although listing has Private in capital letters, the marina offers transient slips to non-members on their long face dock. The staff was particularly helpful when we had a pet medical emergency. The town of Stonington is quaint with shops and restaurants. The yacht club also had a beautiful dining room for guests. An easy Uber ride to the Submarine Force Museum (Groton) was a treat.

Great club. Easy in/out for a stop over going further east or returning back into Long Island sound. Staff is friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Club offers a bar and restaurant. A short walk to Breakwater (restaurant next door). The famous Dog Watch Cafe is a 15 minute walk away through town. Many other restaurants to try in town. NOTE: Only the Dog Watch Cafe is open on Mondays. All other restaurants are closed.
