This was an economical over night dock. Pool was closed (out of season) and we didn't see any members. Dock was secure and power good. Used bicycles to ride around and ended up at Courtney's Restaurant, a very interesting place with an owner that doesn't hesitate to share his political views!

An old style, member-run yacht club. Older but clean & well maintained facility with incredibly welcoming members. No dock hands but members will pitch in if they are around. Easy in and out to the E dock. Flat rate dockage includes good power, Wi-Fi, pool & laundry. We planned on anchoring in the Creek but too good to pass up, we ended up staying 2 nights, very quiet, beautiful sunsets. A great stop heading up or down the Potomac.

Friendly! That’s the best description for this historic yacht club originally out of DC that’s been around for more than a century. We were anchored just up the creek during a heat advisory. A nice gentleman sailed his dinghy from the club and welcomed us to come to the club for a special visitors rate that included Electric, use of the gorgeous swimming pool, and clubhouse. Laundry available for $1 load. Just a great group of people that were full of history and great stories. Kept checking in on us. We had a storm with 30+ knot winds on first night and got a check in text during it. We will definitely be back!!!

Our small group of three boats stayed there several years ago. Very nice pool and grounds with a beautiful sunset over the water. Fixed transient docks were secure, but several piling had large nails protruding out—be careful. Not much around, but we did have access to the clubhouse and watched the opening night of Monday night football!
