Review for Picton Bay
Reviewed by: Ray Sirois, Shellerina, on Jul 25, 2024
Vessel Type: Power
LOA: 3835'
Draft: 4.0'Overall Rating:4Holding:5Wind Protection:5Current Flow:5Wake Protection:5Scenic Beauty:4We anchored inside the pump station near the yacht club. We did not go ashore. Weeds needed to be cleared from the anchor, but otherwise an excellent, protected anchorage. The only disadvantage is it is a bit off the main travelled way.
In this area we also anchored in Prinyer's Cove behind Cressy Point (VERY nice) for one night, see our review / blog post of that one.
And we spent a few hours anchored in Kerr Bay N side of Amherst Island for an afternoon break. (Weeds were the only drawback in Kerr Bay.)-
