Sandy bottom, anchor came up clean. we didn't have any wind or wake issues. there is a sandbar at low tide but doesn't always show itself. no where for pet relief. Would stay here again.

Plenty of room to set an anchor with a good scope and feel safe when you swing. Some traffic during the day but quietness down substantially during evening hours.

We turned in just N of G45 and proceeded south using Navionics as a guide. We found 10' well into the anchorage. The anchor held steady in a brisk south wind (and was miraculously clean when we hauled it). We dinghied to the spoil island south of the anchorage by marker 49 (there is one right by the anchorage but we wanted to take a spin), walked to the center and found gopher tortoises! Wow! There is room for many boats here. You will get waked.

The current does move a little swift through here. The anchor came up clean but held well. There is a large sunken sailboat that is a hazard. We and 2 other boats showed up and there was plenty of room. Shore access is not too bad but the fixed dock at the park is the only place and it is rough.

This is a relatively easy location to anchor but totally exposed to wakes and north south winds.

There are a few derelict boats, but ample room for 6-8 boats along this stretch. We encountered some shoaling just east of ICW on north end of this area, was easier to get into the pool further south.
Current was predictable and mild in this area.
Fun to watch the dolphins and birds playing to the east.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Quite a few boats anchored to the north near the bridge and "long term boats" to the south of this spot. We shared area south of marker with 3 other boats for the night. We came in pretty close to shore, near the little 'river/stream' and saw depths of 9 feet plus. Far enough away from ICW that wakes we're not bad. Close enough to town to dinghy in if you want. Good cell service in both Verizon and Google Fi.
