We anchor north of the bridge near the Pier 220 seafood and grill as south wind will blow hard(30kt and more). Waves don't really build with 15kt NE wind .Iput 2 anchors as people tell us that the north side holding isn't the best. We anchor in 8' of water and a 10:1 ration. We put a vulcan 45 pounds and a fortrese 16 pounds about 30 degrees from each other. the Pier 220 seafood and grill let us put the dinghy at their little dock. I always ask them if they accept my dinghy at their dock.

We anchored North of the mooring field for three days and tied-up dingy at the municiple park. We did use a cable and lock to secure the dingy but others didn't. Very large anchorage, seems to be mostly live-a-boards. Enterprise car rentals about 1mile walk through downtown, won't pick-up for some reason. Took car to Kennedy Space Center, worthwhile, need an entire day. Only downside was we did see one live-a-boards dump their black water, according to local sheriff this is a problem they haven't figured out how to solve.

We spent 8 nights at Mooring Ball A1 waiting to watch the SpaceX man RD launch. Perfect spot to watch launches. The mooring field currently has 25 balls installed but anchors for 75. Only about 8-12 were in use each day and the Marina reports that they usually have availability. Cost is $20 day or $100 for the week. Boat US discount available for daily rate. Balls are well maintained and simple to connect to. If you don’t want to pay for a mooring, you can anchor to the North of the field. There were several boats there the entire week. The Marina is clean, has newly renovated restrooms, a laundry room, secure dinghy dock, and a nicely stocked gift shop and chandlery with very competitive pricing. Marina staff is very helpful. You can walk to a Save-a-Lot grocery store, a nice downtown area with restaurants and shops. Enterprise Rental Car is a 1.5 mile walk. Recommend renting to go to Kennedy Space Center. Worth the visit. Great Mexican Restaurant El Leoncito a couple miles south of town and on the way back from KSC. Great stay whether at mooring or anchor.

We stayed here to watch the NASA Delta IV lauch. It was a fantastic location. It was proptected except for those that did not slow down in the slow wake area. It was agreat place to watch sunsets and there are several fast food restauarnts, convenience stores and a Sav-A-Lot grocery store to the left of the marinas within walking distance. There are also beautiful parks along the way. Wifi was not strong but cell service was good so we were able to use data.

Anchor just outside of Titusville Marina's mooring field. Dinghy access $5/day. Great holding in approximately 7'. Nice playground very close. This is also a great spot to watch rocket launches.
