Going upriver, stay on the right. The water is pretty rocky and shallow on the other side. During the week, the sand barge comes through, so be prepared. It is also a no-wake zone.

Another boat was having the same issues. The boat traffic going past (very closely) doesn't like to slow down, so there is a bit of a wake.

The water taxi is the best part of this spot.

Though you need to use a rear anchor to face out, or all the small boats make a big wake going to the ramp around the corner.

Small area by Tim's to dock next to ramp. The ramp can be entertaining to watch. Good store.

Great mechanics with fair prices. We travel here instead of a closer marina for service and the lift to haul out.

Love the town. There's stuff to do. The wall was okay to tie to, but there was a heavy east wind blowing through. It looks like there are floating docks now just before the wall. We were churning up mud going through. It can get shallow.

The marina staff was very helpful when we had to get towed in. They helped get us in a slip on one engine. They also had a mechanic lined up the next day to troubleshoot the issue. The slip was quiet. There are mostly big fishing boats here. There was more political signage on other boats than one would expect. The bathrooms are individual with showers.

Loved the tiki bar. The transient area is a dock versus a slip. Friendly people. The bathrooms were out of order. There is a strong current that is a bit tricky.
