Passed at high tide with 74' on the boards. Tried for hours to reach the bridge but it is unmanned except for scheduled openings. Finally found a number on an older Waterway Guide posting that took me to the tender. Very nice and helpful. Reported 75' at high tide. New numbers are as follows: 571-329-6424 And (571) 513-3745. Call at least 12 hrs in advance to request an opening. Good luck.

Anchored in between bird and whale in a sandy bottom with excellent holding. Decided to move to the southside of Bird key and quickly found that it was mostly rock with poor holding. Moved back and reset the anchor without any problems. Was joined by two other catamarans in the same Anchorage and everybody held well and there was plenty of room for even more boats to anchor. The only downside is there's no where you can go ashore. Little whale, whale and bird are all private. Very pretty over. Great stepping off point for Nassau.

Very nice marina and great and helpful staff. Stayed here for a night and enjoyed the resort on a stop over from Bimini to Nassau. The only downside is that when you pay to stay at the Marina, the resort fees are not included. Feel that that is unfortunate and should be part of your slip fee as they are not insignificant.
