Cobourg has been one of our stops over many years. Marina is well protected from winds from any direction. The facilities are well maintained and secure.
Uptown is but 2 blocks away with a number of restaurants. Our favourite is the Buttermilk Cafe.

    Gold Looper 2023.
This marina is miles ahead of almost every one of the 137 marinas or clubs at which we stayed while on the Loop - and we stayed at some nice stops.
To go on, I would only repeat the things already said about dockhands staff, care of the facilities, docks etc.
This is the 6th time we stayed here, and we purposely plan it that way.

We stayed on Aig 23, 2024 - just the one night. You can book a slip but must be a minimum if 48 hour notice, and fee is non-refundable.
There is a bar that operates on a limited schedule
Washrooms and showers are separate, but clean and serviced.
Dock hand met us at the dock. VHF answered promptly.
Members were friendly and accepting of a visitor.
    Would stay again.

We stayed a couple of days (Aug 21&22, 2024. Overall a good stay. Upside - right downtown Kingston, close to any number of bars and restaurants. Marine Museum is close and worth the trip if you add the Keewatin Tour.
Downside - washroom and showers were 1300 steps from our berth. That said, the facilities were secure, clean and private.
Food store is a 6 or I blocks away, but so is the LCBO a d drug store.
Potable water and power at the slip. WiFi is OK when connected but often drops then reconnects.
Guess the final word is we would stay there again.

One of the smallest marinas where we have stayed but don't let that stop you. Dave & Emily Wood, new owners as of October 2023, are adding improvements.
Came for two nights. Clubhouse is very comfortable, 2 full restrooms with showers, a powder room, washer / dryer ($2 honor system), ice (honor system), and pumpout has been recently added. 30 amp power at the dock. Potable water dockside is yet to be added but coming. Fitepits, BBQs, gazebo, and quiet protected harbor.
At $2 / foot - would stay again.

we arrived only to be met with a half dozen members ready to help us land.
FHYC is a small club but certainly one of the most friendly clubs where we have stayed.

OOYC was recommended to us by a fellow sailor. it was or first time here.
Arrived on a Friday and knew the next 3days at least, we would stay in port days. Met by the Dockmaster and to our slip, very protected from north winds.
Friday night the kitchen was open and enjoyed a fish fry. if you went hungry it was your fault.
Saturday we took a trip up the river.
Sunday night members have a chicken BBQ / potluck and we're invited. @ $5 a head - can't beat it.
Clubhouse is on the hill, 45 step stairway but has 3 landing if a rest is needed.
There is an UBER available which is needed if you must provision

Facilities were clean. Gas BBQs available for use & best part, ice cream and pop available on the honmour system for $1.

Our decision to dock at DYC was made on short order. We called about 2 hours before we arrived and VHF 68 as we got close.
Two dockhands were waiting as we arrived. True, we were on the wall near the Clubhouse, but the NE winds and waves did not carry down the channel.
Weather decided we were not traveling for the next 3 days.
Clubhouse has a restaurant. Good menu selection. We ate there twice.
They have a BBQ area with tables, wash-up sinks, grill and propane. Two other boat and ourselves had an evening together.
A club shuttle boat will take you to the other side (or a 20 or so minute walk) where there are a number of eating places.
All in all - good place to stay

We stayed 3 nights, May 6, 7, & 8 on the Mega Dock. Staff was very helpful. Shuttle service offered we used 4 times - just great. All together - a wonderful stay.
PS. regardless of what you might have heard, the outside of the Mega Dock does have traffic going by, but in total, quite comfortable.

Tried to make a reservation today and was asked the year of our boat. We have a 1989 Island Gypsy 32, recently survey and insured.
Rely - "I am sorry sir but we do not accept boats over 30 years old!"
They got one star because the person was polite, and suggested the marina across the ICW from.them.

We are on the Great Loop. A slip holder at Riviera is also on the Loop and we contracted with them to use their slip for 6 weeks. Timing worked for both of us.
The Marina staff is "over the top". They helped us into the slip, check on us later that day. Every morning the staff walks the dock. If we are out, they ask again.
Pump out are on Tuesdays for the dock we are on but needed one earlier. No hesitation.
    Very protected harbour.
    Neighbouring boats all are friendly.

We, Moon Dragon arrived on November 23rd. Originally reported as full, Jimmy found a place for us. GM, Steve, talked us into the harbour, Sammy met us at the dock and made us secure.
Chipmonk , a buddy boat was here, and together with several others celebrated Thanksgiving the next day.
We had a depth sounder problem which we expected to solve quickly (forgot "it's a boat"). One thing led to another so a week turned into a month.
Weathered a tornado watch, wind warning, and massive rainfall: all safe.
Used Columbus as a supply base with several incoming orders, plus, the availability of a loaner car to do local shopping made our time here extremely pleasant.
One of the best places we have stayed on the Loop.
