We stayed a couple of days (Aug 21&22, 2024. Overall a good stay. Upside - right downtown Kingston, close to any number of bars and restaurants. Marine Museum is close and worth the trip if you add the Keewatin Tour.
Downside - washroom and showers were 1300 steps from our berth. That said, the facilities were secure, clean and private.
Food store is a 6 or I blocks away, but so is the LCBO a d drug store.
Potable water and power at the slip. WiFi is OK when connected but often drops then reconnects.
Guess the final word is we would stay there again.

Very nice marina, deep water, good electric, good water pressure. We are a power cat so we were assigned an outer slip and a very long walk to the marina exit and bathroom/showers which were very nice and kept very clean. No pump out or fuel and very busy marina. Staff was friendly and accommodated our last minute slip request. Located right downtown Kingston and numerous bar/ restaurants. No grocery stores/marine supply stores nearby . Would stay again. Slips are well protected from wakes.

Large marina located at downtown Kingston so is close to grocery (nice city market with fresh produce), many restaurants, ice cream, etc. Responsive staff assistance in docking all in red shirts though their knowledge is basic/limited, i.e., check your lines for proper security of your boat and to the dock. Marina has many showers & laundry. However, the laundry room closes at 8:00 pm so you have to be done by 8. Don't know when or how often during the day the showers are cleaned but on our one night stay, all were in need of cleaning (some very much so).

An inner city feeling marina. Location is close to many restaurants (try Tango Nuevo for tapas!) walking distance to grocery and liquor stores. A large marina, with many bath/shower combos, laundry. NO fuel or Pumpout! These are apparently at Portsmouth Olympic Harbor, at the fringe of town to the west. Three dock hands struggled to help us tie our lines in moderate wind, seemed inexperienced. Fairways seemed narrow. Seems like the place could be better, but you are there for the proximity to downtown restaurants and shopping. Helpful staff in the office assisted us in adding an extra day due to weather.

11 Jun 2023. Confederation basin Marina is a city marina. Well run but need some care on the docks. Very professional dock hands came out to greet us in red shirts. You simply cannot beat the location because it is right at the heart of the City. The restrooms are outstanding. We counted about 10 or 12 of them each has a sink a toilet and a shower in them. There is also a lounge and the Wi-Fi is great. Be sure to visit the Blue Martini restaurant. Great live music on Friday nights. We stayed there for a week which at this city marina means six nights! That's because you leave on the 7th Day. LOL Sam & Rev on Here's To Us!!, 50' Carver at WhatYachtToDo.com

Huge Marina! By far the largest I've been in. Luckily we were on a close dock to the entrance. Dock help was great. Pay laundry, showers and toilets are in the office. The showers are private but needed a clean. They were not open one morning at 6:30. There are hundreds of restaurants and shops very close by. The park is right there and an information booth. We did the hop on hop off trolley to sightsee.

July 24&25, Spent 2 nights. Very nice marina close to all manner of food and entertainment. The dock hands were TERRIFIC! It was very very windy when I came in, they were right there waiting, very competent. Only negative was the WiFi which was intermittent. I will stop here again.

Municipal marina in Kingston, Onterio. We were greeted by one dockhand who helped us tie up our lines. We easilly cleared customs by calling 888 226-7277. We had to walk a long way from our boat to the facilities. The facilities (bathrooms, showers, laundry room) are large and industrial looking and very clean. You can walk to many stores and restauraunts.

Center of town. Walk to lots of restaurants, Victorian homes, museums, tours, grocery store. At least 12 private showers and toilets. Laundry machines.
Customs entry point... call 888.226.7277 (might be on hold for an hour)
Dual 30 amp and water. No pump out (go to Portsmouth Olympic for pump out $26can ) No Fuel. Very poor internet.
Very large basin to hold for a dock, no anchoring.
    Very nice staff.

Great location in downtown Kingston. Close to restaurants and shops. Farmers market behind the city hall weekly. Modern shower and washrooms, good dock help. Easy in an out. Generally will not take same day reservations until you are in the basin. Can be difficult to reach by phone as you end up in a city directory.
