Wonderful anchorage from which to explore a Gullah-Geechee community, but it's a long walk. Two mile walk to the Reynolds Mansion, but be advised a tour should be arranged in advance. We tried anchoring near the edges of the Duplin River, but the anchor wouldn't catch. It finally caught closer to the center of the river, in line with the anchoring symbol. lots of motorboat/wake during the day, but nights are calm.

Quiet anchorage, secure holding. Easy to enter on north side of marker, never saw less than 10 feet at mid tide. Keep to South side of North River for depth, then move to north side for anchoring --but watch out for crab traps all along the river. No real wind protection. 1-3 bars of internet, but no shore access or civilization.

Shoaling has increased on the south side of the inlet. We entered just south of the green marker and had no trouble at low tide (we draw 4'5"). A small catamaran made it way in, but we anchored about 300' from the ICW.

Very grassy bottom and hard to find a secure holding. only five other boats here, two appear abandoned. Sandy beach for dinghy access on east side, good for pets. Would go elsewhere next time.

Very rolly with winds out of the south at 20-25 kts, but good holding. Only one boat here when we arrived, possibly derelict but with a good anchor so no worries. Boat ramp just south of us, tho not sure if useful for dinghies. Good Verizon signal. Depths 6.6 to 7.2 an hour past hight tide.

We came for a week, stayed nearly a month. First time in a slip, and the great staff talked us through it. Limited grocery store, NAPA, and boat repair shop in walking distance, as well as a thrift shop. If you don't mind a hike, The Heroes Grill served one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. Downtown Titusville is charming.
