They are now enforcing the $1.50/foot fee. Call the posted number when you arrive and you will be sent a link to pay by credit card. Power included. No water at this time. Right downtown. Easy walk everywhere. Huge variety of restaurants. Lots of history. Many parks. Kroger grocery store about a mile away. Only drawback is wakes from passing ferries and pleasure boats.

Great communication pre-arrival. Super helpful dockhand who had thoughtfully moved us to a slip closer to the bathrooms than originally assigned. Clean and recently renovated bathroom and showers. Laundry room appeared functional but we didn't need to use it. Pool was actually uncovered (first we've seen in Maryland so far this season) and pool technician was adjusting chemicals and cleaning. Power and water at dockside. No gas, but both diesel and regular were available at Safe Harbor on the way in. Did not need pump-out. Very friendly but not obtrusive staff. Very walkable town. Not much open until Thursday.

Great stop. Echo previous good reviews. Of note, the Enterprise Car Rental office is no longer across the street. Closest is several miles away. Office on 1004 W Mercury Drive has limited shuttle pick-up and drop off only on weekdays. Need to call office to arrange.

When we checked in at the city dock to the West we were told this dock is no longer to be used for overnight stays.

We initially enjoyed our visit. Office was responsive and dock-hands were available to help us tie up. Office staff was friendly after arrival. Pool did not seem heated but it was hot enough out that it felt ok. Some bugs floating on the surface and could have used a skimming. Disappointed that there are no hot showers for marina guests, but this is stated on the Waterways guide, so no surprise. The reason for the low stars is the attitude towards guests with dogs. I was told by the security person that my dog needed to do her business off the property, which requires a walk of a block or two. Was told "there are signs and this was in the agreement you signed". I told them I can't control when she goes and I always pick up after her (which I absolutely do). Then, I was told I didn't take a direct enough route off the property. This is a property I have never been to before so I asked for a map. This was scoffed at. Apparently I took too long to read the signage on my way out, which I was doing to see if there was something posted in front of the office. None of these signs can be seen from the docks or on trying to exit the property. The two I could find on re-examining the property are at the entrance (mailbox and entry sign) and I would not have assumed they applied to a paying guest ("No dog walking. Private property"). DO NOT stay here if you have a dog.

On 11/10/23 the minimum depth at upriver side was 3'. We briefly bumped what was likely a submerged log. No damage at slow speed. No issues on same way out. Short cement area next to ramp with cleats was great for tying off dinghy. Dog did not get muddy. Reasonable walk around campgrounds. Bathrooms were functioning. Only spotty 1 bar service with Verizon.
