This was a lovely anchorage for us. Crystal clear water. Sandy mud with a bit of weed. We had beautiful weather with no wind so can't comment on holding but it seems very protected. Some wakes from passing vessels. Easy to take dinghy or paddle board ashore to the state park for dog walks on the hiking trails.

Lovely location, super clean restrooms and showers, helpful staff. The water seems to be heavy with iron which causes staining in the (individual) shower stalls and smells quite strong. Dog friendly town with pup cones at the ice cream shop! Very helpful and friendly staff.
