Atlantic City is one of the best cruising destinations on the New Jersey coast. Its blazing skyline has become the east coast's most impressive all-night beacon for offshore cruisers. Whether you are planning a several-day stop or you need a place to get out of the weather, look no farther than this robust port with some of the most beautiful beaches on the New Jersey coast. The original 7-mile-long Atlantic City Boardwalk, built in 1870, was the first of its kind in the world and was the inspiration for the board game Monopoly.
