I recently purchased a boat which is located at Moss Marina. Even though there was no room in the dry stack building they are able to accommodate me in an open area with other boats. Every one of the staff and mechanics are as friendly and helpful as could be. They are doing repairs on a very timely basis and seem genuinely concerned to get the boat back to an excellent condition.

Stayed here for 6 weeks. Staff is awesome. Convenient to Times Square, restaurants etc. Current is wicked, so be sure to go in at slack tide.

First class marina in a great location. Close to lots of good restaurants. The main street of Ft. Myers Beach is ¼ mile away and the beach is another ¼ down that road. The docks are new and floating. Fairly easy to get in and out even with the strong current. Restroom and showers are close and clean. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

This marina is in our top 3 out of our 1500 miles so far! Loopers take note! : We opted to stay here on the Beach side vs. on the Ft Myers City side and couldn't have been happier with our choice! Great dockhands that were so helpful. We had family in town and opted to head to different islands each day. The current can be a bit strong at times (ONLY downside) but the dockhands were always a radio call away and they were there everytime to help us back in. Wade and Malari in the office were super accommodating! Facilities were great! No restaurant onsight but the location put us within minutes of restaurants, shops AND the beach was just a very walkable few blocks away. Can't say enough about this marina and the location! We will be back!

The dock hands go the extra mile here. They are the friendliest and most helpful people we've met, especially Dan! We are currently doing the loop and have stayed at many marinas along the way. The location is near some really great restaurants and located in a quite neighborhood. Highly recommend staying at this marina if your in the area.

Wade, the dockmaster, should get a raise! He is incredibly helpful on the phone, making sure you know exactly where your slip is and that you are comfortable with it!
There are nice, new floating docks and unfortunately new owners are trying to pay for them by jacking rates up so be sure you ask rather than assuming your slip rate will be the same as the last time you docked here or competitive with surrounding marinas.
Nice captain's lounge with clean showers and laundry facilities.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Let me start with the pro's.. clean marina, great location, helpful and friendly dock hands, that's it... now the cons... the rest off the staff, very unfriendly, very rude and very unhelpful. I was here 11 days. I paid for 100 amp (2 50 amp) and one never worked. The breaker kept tripping and they kept blaming my boat. I moved from salty sams 20 mins before arriving here and it all worked fine there. I even paid a "marine electrician" $600 to come and fix my boat issue... he found nothing wrong with my boat wiring. We even swapped the cables and the same breaker on their pedestal kept tripping. Finally the manager said he would have someone check it. I was there when their electrician showed up and within 5 min she said it was their breaker but had to order it. this all happened on the 7th day. needless to say, i never had 100 amp although i was charged for it. The marina said they would refund for the charge and i would only be charged for 50 amp... this never happened! I will never go back to this marina! i will never recommend this to anyone! horrible experience and they truly do not care! its sad because it is a nice spot. I hate to even give them one star...

The reason behind the 2 star rating is based on the service department, they often (always) over promised and under delivered. I contacted them a week before arriving to make sure they could do the work I needed, I was assured it was no problem. When we arrived the service dept said they would be at the boat at 9 am the next morning, they showed at 1 pm and not to do any work, just review what was to be done, again. I was then told that they would be there the next morning, no one showed up until the following day where they worked on the boat for an hour. Then it was the following Monday when someone showed up again. I ended up cutting the work needed as a one day job took a week and the fees do add up.
As far as location, 5 star, bathrooms, showers were clean, pet friendly. The only draw back was internet was only available while sitting in the boaters lounge.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

As a "Looper" we've been stopping here for a number of times over the years. Not only is it a great friendly place, it is the closest you will get to the best restaurants and main drag that leads to Ft. Myers Beach. The marina is quiet, calm and well protected with good safe solid docks. Nervous Nellies. It is just two blocks away from the south side of the Marina. We love Nervous Nellies & Yucatan Beach restaurants (easy short walk just 2 blocks away from the marina on the main drag).
