Cruising the Loop and have stopped here since we discovered it a few years ago. Great food. Great Experience! Worth every single round trip mile off the ICW. . .

It is a good safe anchorage. I suggest you may not want to dock at free dock, as it is a bit rough. Anchor out here and dinghy in.

As a "Looper" we've been stopping here for a number of times over the years. Not only is it a great friendly place, it is the closest you will get to the best restaurants and main drag that leads to Ft. Myers Beach. The marina is quiet, calm and well protected with good safe solid docks. Nervous Nellies. It is just two blocks away from the south side of the Marina. We love Nervous Nellies & Yucatan Beach restaurants (easy short walk just 2 blocks away from the marina on the main drag).

One of the better anchorages from here south. Room for about 8 or more boats depending on size of course, and if everyone cooperates. It has always been over 6' deep for us and no less than 4' 6" deep at the edge of the shoreline. Anchor 200' or so past the boat ramp which makes a good landing for the dog.

This is a pretty good anchorage. It is sheltered, quite, peaceful and calm.
