It wasn't difficult to get into the slip and the boater's lounge, restrooms and showers are excellent! We came in as the office was closing and the staff helped us with our lines. The Dollar General Store, restaurants, shops, and pubs are within walking distance. We were fortunate enough to dock and be here for part of the town's block party. The band was excellent!

Best facilities of any marina we've stayed at. Very helpful and friendly staff and a beautiful town. Nothing but great.

Nice clubhouse. Well protected from weather. Close to downtown. Groceries about 1-1/2 miles away. Reasonable gas prices. $10 pump out.

Very protected harbour located well off Lake Michigan. Current in the river can run at 3-4 knots. We seemed to notice a back eddy along the south shore when we docked. Fuel, pump-out, boater lounge, gang washrooms, individual showers all very clean.
The marina runs along the river shore with a board walk along side that is part of a hospitality zone. Great place for a morning or evening walk or jog. Also easy and interesting dog walking.
You can buy a drink at one of the bars or restaurants on the main street and wonder around. No grocery store within 3 miles, but the downtown, a block away, has a number of shops and restaurants - even a barber.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

These guys are great. Young staff, but there is always a more experienced person to help at the fuel dock, work the credit card machine. Facilities are very nice. Clubhouse is cool. We were able to do remote work. Internet is intermittent, but rural northern Michigan struggles in general. It worked fairly well most of the time. I would definitely stay here again. The current is rough for docking, but the guys are really fast to come to the dock and help. They are also good about monitoring Channel 9.

Lovely facilities in the heart of downtown along the Manistee River made this a pleasurable stay. The new clubhouse is comfortable and clean- wi-fi, televisions-- a quiet place during our visit. The town of Manistee has good dining options a short walk from the marina. Damage from a winter storm took out a number of docks and the parts of the Riverwalk boardwalk. Repairs were underway in May 2019 and looked to be completed soon. Harbormaster Laura was attentive with reservations and confirmations-- returned calls right away and stayed on top of our arrival plans.
