Nice tidy marina with a great group of seasonal boaters. Helpful staff. Protected from wind might get a little wake from ICW depending on location in marina. Can walk to Marineland and over to Atlantic beach. Otherwise not much around but lots of places to explore with dinghy or kayak and walking trails.

Not a recommended stop. Two washrooms for the whole marina, plus a very busy Freedom Boat Club. No potable water or wifi on the docks, cockroaches and a maximum of 4 feet of water at low tide. All for $3 a foot. Would give no stars if possible.

New docks were installed just before Christmas. They are floating. 50 amp power. The reminder will be updated in the next construction period. The marina is a busy place as it is the centre of Manatee viewing tour operators and a busy boat launch. One shower for boaters. No laundry.

Staff are helpful and ready to assist when you are coming in during hours. The marina also provides tide tables which are very important to negotiate you way in and out. Note tide co-efficeint and wind direction as north and east winds reduce the water level even more.

Crystal River itself is a fun stop with some interesting shops and restaurants. The Waterway Guide says manatee tours are a nominal fee - currently are $95 + pp. We took our dinghy around to the springs to drift and had good luck seeing a few.

Fairly long way to shore and grass for dogs. The older dock sections are challenging for smaller dogs as their paws slip between the boards.

Some transient slips. Call for a reservation. Fuel, individual washrooms and showers, free laundry and ice. Boaters lounge on site with full kitchen, BBQ, fuel and pump-out.  Nothing within walking distance but a shorter Uber ($8) ride to Walmart, Costco and all other provision stops than any other dock in Nashville. Very quiet but very welcoming and helpful slip owners. Manager on site. Everything is clean and tidy. Easy dog walking.

Covered slips C and B are in good shape but no wifi. Dock A needs a lot of maintenance as do all the facilities. Two showers/heads for the whole marina. Water, power and fuel. Caters to liveaboards so slips have lines, hoses and fenders even when empty. Restaurant on site is quite popular. Not dog friendly as the walk to shore is long and the walk to grass even longer. Booked for a week left after one night.

Nicely maintained marina. Fuel, washrooms, showers. Room for 5-6 transient with water, power and complimentary dockside pump-out. Ramp to shore is steep at low water but great dog walking space, path to park and downtown. Restaurant nearby is family style with everything prepared from scratch. Handy to the Barkley Dam and Locks, this is a nice stop. One of the few marinas that reserve the dock right next to the individual showers, laundry and office for transients. A courtesy van is available for 2 hours. More than enough time to visit the closest grocery store in Grand River, liquor store, post office and poke your head into a few shops. Three restaurants on site, plus marine store. Fuel and pump-out available plus haul out and service if needed. Would give them a 5 if they were easier to reach by phone.

Anchored here August 2022, low water so the chute behind the island was too shallow. We had more luck with the southern anchorage. Current kept us parallel to shore, even with a light wind and against tow wakes. Downstream tows have no wake. The wake from upstream tows can rock you as they push around the bend. Sand bottom - held very well. At low water there was a nice beach to land dogs.

The entrance into Round Lake and the municipal marina is through a long breakwater and canal with a bascule bridge that lifts on the half hour between 6 am and 10 pm. Outside of those hours is lifts on demand. The bridge is the main street in the village and is quite heavily travelled so boats are encouraged to be ready and waiting when the light turns green.

The marina is beautiful. Very clean gang washrooms with showers, laundry and boaters lounge. Dog walking in the beautiful park adjacent to the docks, The park also has tables, benches, outdoor amphitheatre, splash pad and fish ponds and a farmers market on the weekend.

Groceries about 1/2 mile walk, lots of things to see and a range of restaurants. As others have mentioned, fuel and pump-outs are available about 100 yards away, slightly south of city docks.

Winds tends to swirl around in Round Lake so boats will move around.

Normally a harbor of refuge, Hartshorn lost its transient dock space in the last year and has yet to replace them. However, the harbour master will accommodate transients if a seasonal slip is empty. The slips are drive up - with pilings and cleats. There is room in the harbor to anchor in the centre but check with harbor master first. It is gated. Don't be put off by the abandon building across the street. It is being renovated and the side facing away from the marina are loft condos.

Marina staff are friendly and helpful. I would give a much higher rating it there were other amenities nearby or a loaner car.

Gang washrooms and individual showers are clean. Grounds are nicely kept. Grass for dog walking and sitting in the shade are across the drive. Tables and garbage are next to the slips or on the grass. Not much around but we can recommend Fatty Lumpkins Sandwich Shack which is a 5 minute walk for lunch - it closes mid-afternoon.

Looks like it would be well protected except for NW winds.

Adjacent to busy train lines with multiple level crossings so the horns blow day and night. If you have a dog sensitive to noise, they will not like it here. Takes about 1 hour to cycle the locks and your fenders need to be low. It is possible to tie up over night at the top of the locks but it is a very active park, the washrooms are quite a hike and the rail line is very active.

An old style resort being resurrected by one of Canada's leading tech families. Tie up at the locks and the resort is right there. A great place to stop for a meal or to meet family or friends who would like shore accommodations for a longer stay. Great fishing and bird watching in the area.

A quaint little tourist town to walk around. Groceries and liquor store within walking distance. Shops, galleries and restaurants too. Can dingy to the beach at Foley Mountain conservation areas to hike the trails. The village is on the route of a Rideau Lake Cycle Tour so if you are a cyclist there are some great rides accessible from the harbour. Take the north channel into the harbour.

I agree with everyones' positive reviews of this facility. Showers that are spotlessly clean: big enough to swing a cat in, glass wall so you don't get the spins as badly, and water temp controls mounted out of the range of the shower head so you don't get soaked turning them on. Very knowledge dock hands who are trained by some of the resident boaters. It is also a handy spot to leave your boat to travel to Toronto or Montreal by train as the train station is only a few miles away. They will receive shipments, including from the Online Rope Store which is just to the north.

Very protected and quiet dock. Minimal service - washrooms and showers. Within walking distance of groceries and liquor store. If you have bikes, the roads and trails let you explore Prince Edward Wine country.

Great working yard! The gelcoat repair guy is brilliant. A few transient slips with some amenities - nothing fancy. Caters primarily to day sailors.

This is a working yard, home of Metal Craft Marine who makes fireboats. Some transient slips. A bit of a walk to downtown shop, but not as far from the liquor store and grocery store.

Great location in downtown Kingston. Close to restaurants and shops. Farmers market behind the city hall weekly. Modern shower and washrooms, good dock help. Easy in an out. Generally will not take same day reservations until you are in the basin. Can be difficult to reach by phone as you end up in a city directory.
