It wasn't difficult to get into the slip and the boater's lounge, restrooms and showers are excellent! We came in as the office was closing and the staff helped us with our lines. The Dollar General Store, restaurants, shops, and pubs are within walking distance. We were fortunate enough to dock and be here for part of the town's block party. The band was excellent!

Close to town for supplies and to eat out. We ate at Loco Beanz Coffee House. Delicious paninis . Note of caution about docking. Current is very strong and changes as the winds change.

Steve, dock master, was very helpful with lines, local info, etc. He told us about the nearby Enterprise Car rental so that we could rent a car to see West Point Academy and the New Croton Dam. Steve also adjusted our lines for us during a storm while we were at West Point. Good showers as well.

We enjoyed our stop at Delaware City Marina. Tim and Foster were great at helping us plan for our run to Cape May and up the east coast. Both are so knowledgeable about the currents, shoals, and obstacles in the area to Cape May.

We stayed four nights at this marina. Friendly staff and a quiet marina. Good rates but restrooms need updated. Can walk to Annmarie Sculpture Garden and a great restaurant, The Ruddy Duck, and even dinghy over to West Marine.

We only stopped for a pump out but the young lady at the dock was so helpful and knew what she was doing—-great with lines and quick , especially since the dock was super busy.

We anchored near the marina and took our dinghy over to the dinghy dock. A bit pricey at $10 per person each day but that does entitle you to use their showers free and use their laundry facilities. Town is within walking distance, as well as Dollar General. The marina does have bikes to use for free for two hours and $1.50 an hour after two hours. So Food Lions is available by bikes or maybe rent a golf cart.

Good anchorage. Soft mud and needed good wash down. Bay was quiet. Deltaville Tap and Raw Bar a quick dinghy ride (tie up for $5 a day) at the marina dock. Food was excellent! A nice wooded trail to Deltaville Maritime Museum with a wooded trail to see sculptures of water birds was a plus.

We are newbies and still learning. The lock tender was so helpful. She told us what to do step by step. We sure appreciate people helping us along our Loop.
