It's hard to know where to start when writing about Liberty Landing Marina because there are just so many great things about it! The location is unbeatable - both for the convenience of a quick mid-passage stopover or a multi-day transient stay. Floating docks, easy access, and 24-hour fuel are just a few of the benefits of the marina itself. There is also a fully stocked ship's store, an excellent service department, and a Captain's Lounge with the cleanest bathroom facilities you will find anywhere! And did I mention the views? The New York City skyline, the Statue of Liberty and the Verrazano Bridge, and all of the vistas that the East River and Hudson River have to offer. Strolling through Liberty State Park is a joy, and there is a sense of safety morning, noon, and night. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that there is no better spot to view July 4th fireworks from. But what really sets Liberty Landing Marina apart from all others is the people. From Janer (the Dockmaster) and Ivan (ship's store manager) and everyone in between, you won't find a nicer, more knowledgeable and helpful group of people anywhere! Even more impressive is the length of time that many of these people have worked there. I've been going to Liberty Landing for years and there is always a familiar face to greet me! If you ever have the opportunity to spend a few days in New York Harbor don't look to stay anywhere else -- you won't be disappointed!

Chuck diagnosed and fixed our mechanical issue quickly. Well protected marina, short walk to Manhattan or Statue of Liberty ferry. Clean, modern, docks and bathrooms. Two good restaurants on site. Park next door. Liberty landing is one of the best anywhere.

One of the best on the loop. Quality lounge, bathrooms, laundry and floating docks. Outstanding location. Walk to ferry to Manhattan. Walk to upscale or basic restaurants. Next to a large park. Views of the city.

You pay for the view, but it is worth it. Great floating docks. People complained about a ferry in other reviews, I didn't hear it. The staff is professional, and friendly. It is a great spot to get in off the Hudson prior to heading upstream or out and down the New Jersey coast.

The beauty of this Marina is in the location with the backdrop of New York City and The Statue of Liberty right at your dock and the Marina staff and facilities are equal to the awe inspiring views. We hailed the Marina on Channel 72 and they responded immediately with docking instructions and had a dock hand to help us into our slip. The boaters lounge and shower facilities were top notch and their are 2 great restaurants available with stunning views and food. There is a great walkway at Liberty Park which is right off the dock. The docking fee is pricey but the ambiance is worth it !

Cons: VERY PRICEY!!!
Conclusion: A great one-time treat. Will spend less elsewhere next time.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

What a great stay! This was our prime stop on a trawler trip from Albany, NY to Hartford CT. The location is stunning with a picture perfect view of lower Manhattan. Quite easy to get to Manhattan despite Covid restriction during the 4th of July week. The facility is immaculate with great showers and restrooms. Very well sorted marine store that helped me address some issues with our AC unit. Staff were super friendly and the regulars are spanning everything from live-aboards to upscale yatch. and are equally friendly and helpful. I wish I could attach an image to the review...

This is a 5 star marina. Dock staff knowledgeable, helpful. Docks solid, floating, in well maintained shape. Great ships and convenience store. Due to Covid, we stayed at the marina. Pricey, but for one night the views of Manhattan and Jersey City alone are worth it.

Restaurant not bad, just a little pricey. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Slip fees for overnight are super high and we still weren't in Manhattan yet. But, nice people to deal with and a great view of NYC skyline from NJ. Caution though, the harbor waters are rough and busy. Ferry traffic is non stop and will wake your boat.

The views of lower Manhattan were amazing. Easy access to the Statue of Liberty ,Ellis Island and the 9/11 memorial. When we come back to this area,, we will stop here.

Part on the Suntex group of marinas, harbor master Andy stayed an extra hour for us. Everything new, well protected and two great, and I do mean great, restaurants on premises. The views of NYC were fantastic. Cruise to Ellis Island and SOL as well as Water Taxis to NYC. Reasonable too.
