Wonderful, well-protected marina within walking distance to downtown St Petersburg's shopping, dining and museums. Sean and his staff are super friendly and eager to help with anything we need. The facilities are very nice and we enjoy having a cup of coffee in the Captains Lounge. Bonus - two to six manatees hang out just behind our slip everyday!!! This is a great place to stay for a day or a month!!

Stayed here after our Gulf crossing. Good location. Currents can be tricky at fuel dock and slips - we arrived at slack tide. This is a fishing marina - you will see and smell the fishing atmosphere! (It's not bad). There single use bathrooms open all night and a shower facility and pool down the block. My wife enjoyed the heated toilet seat! ???? bar/restaurant was not open on a Sunday evening. We were charged $17 for the night as the marina was without shore power- their waiting on a new breaker board - they did tell us this in advance.

Great location, great staff!! Close to town for provisions and some really tasty Korean Street food. Fixed docks with about 2' tidal change. The current can be tricky when docking - we were in an inside slip so did not have to deal with the current. Showers/bathrooms were decent. Great jump off point for the gulf crossing.

Not sure where all the hype comes from on this stop. OK dock and the restaurant was decent. Again, the 'reservation' system is suspect. Expect more boats to be there than you think. Rafting up will happen. If it's late you can go up to the restaurant and ask to tie up to the public boat ramp dock. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly. This is another patience and teamwork experience.

Great marina to stop before crossing the Ablemarle Sound. Wonderful staff (Charles and staff in the kitchen). Helped us dock and get situated (note if you want help best to arrive between 12p and 6p when Charles works). Great Fried Chicken and breakfast sandwiches. Clean facilities. Finger docks very narrow and fixed docks so made getting in and out of boat a challenge.

Recently renovated and we loved our stay here. First of all the deck crew was amazing and helped us dock with a storm brewing. They have pump out and fuel along the dock. Great clean facilities including shower. Able to borrow a golf cart to get dinner and provisions. Cute town and wonderful people! The docks are fixed and somewhat exposed to wind and waves.

Loved the service provided in helping us dock and repeated phone calls and check ups to see that we were ok - especially during a storm. Craig and his team are awesome. Great location and bathrooms clean (did not use shower). Lots of restraints nearby. Call ahead to get advised on currents and docking for a smoother entry to this area.

Stayed at this nice marina. Dock hands were kind and helpful. They provided us a loaner bike to go to Food Lion for provisions - about a two mile ride with NO sidewalks. The transient boats are put on the fuel dock which is a bit exposed to ICW traffic. Joseph's Italian restaurant was amazing. The other on-site restaurant was closed (Tuesday).

Showers and bathrooms were clean and roomy with nice HOT water. The surrounding neighborhood is full of small canopied street with beautiful homes!

Top 3 marina on the Loop so far!!! Beautiful linear dock for transient boaters. Linda was a pleasure to speak with on the phone. Sterling and Jeffrey were amazing and very helpful with lines and fuel. We loved the added touch of fresh muffins left on our boat each morning. They have a courtesy vehicle and bikes. We took the bikes into historic St Simons Island which was so cute. The on-site restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, served great cuisine. The laundry, bathroom and showers were clean and roomy. A must stay!!

Second stay was not great. The positive - due to weather we were able to extend for two night (not without the "it's doubtful comments that kept us on edge until they said they could keep us). Close to downtown shopping and great bars, restaurants. The negative - three boats that were on one electrical pedestal had issues. We were showing reverse polarity and spent two nights on the dock without shore power. The other two boats had problems as well - breakers tripping and even a mild shock. The marina,s stance was "there's nothing wrong with our dock, the problem is with your boat (I'm typing this from the dock on St Simons Island hooked up to shore power with no reverse polarity). it's not my boat. The staff was not as friendly as our first visit. The three days we were there the restrooms/showers had no hot water. The WiFi was spotty at best. This marina has done better and needs to get better. Start owning your problems!

We arrived just before slack tide (low). Very easy to dock boat. We appreciated not being on the outer finger exposed to the ICW traffic. Becca was waiting to catch our lines when we arrived. She was so nice! She checked us in and brought a welcome brochure with bathroom codes and a list of nearby restaurants. We chose Tubby Tanks - the Fish & Grits and the fried asparagus were divine! The bathrooms and showers were amazing. Super clean and roomy.

Upon arriving we received excellent assistance from Jey with our lines. Easy to get fuel, pump out and water. Facilities we're nice. Ship store cute, not packed with marine essentials. Must take Uber to downtown Beaufort as the Historic section has no provision stores. Transient dock is exposed to ICW and takes the brunt of a storm from the West.
