Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant on site is Chart House, so not your typical bar food...very delicious though!!! It is about a mile walk to downtown Daytona where there are lots of restaurants and beautiful parks.

Our boat needed the prop shaft bearings replacing. We got hauled out and they guys did a great job getting everything fixed. Rich and Glen were very good. Would definitely come back if we needed more work doing.

Good marina, helpful friendly staff. Stayed two nights, tight to get into the inner slips. Had bottom cleaned by 'Ronnie the Diver', spotted a few missing anodes. We were located very close to washrooms, laundry and Charthouse restaurant, supposed to be very good.

We left our boat here for storage during the holidays. When we first arrived they were able to do a quick haul to determine if we needed to just clean or to paint the bottom. Then Hurricane Nicole decided to come while we were away. Staff was very helpful with boat updates and getting our power and inverter turned off and then on again. Well protected cove except for the 5' storm surge. Many of the docks in the boatyard side sustained damage. Our boat was fine. When we arrived back to pick her up the work they had done was awesome. Bottom and running gear painting were meticulous. Replaced all zincs too. Competitive rates and exceptional staff. The transient dock was full for our first night aboard but they found a way to accommodate our schedule and provisioning. Would stay again.

Great stop. Excellent staff, good facilities, very good restaurant on site.
The fact that Daytona Marina is open 24/7 takes a lot of stress out of making it to the dock before closing.

We stopped here on November 11, and we were not pleased. We were put at the fuel dock, and told that they had overbooked the marina. When we arrived, the individuals trying to grab the lines did not know what they were doing, and made a mess of the docking process. They did not even complete cleating of the lines, when everyone took off, never to be seen again. We ended up completing our docking ourselves. At the same time we were docking, they directed another boat to dock next to us, resulting in a locking of our anchors. The docks were old, and not floating. When we complained about being a few feet away from the outside seating area for the restaurant, and the accompanying noise, we were told "why are you complaining, some people like the location ".

Great staff, nice transient facilities, walking distance to some shops and restaurants, however one of our favorite stops due to on site chart house!

Superb! There are many choices for dockage in Daytona Beach. This one has been around since about 1900! A working Repair Yard and a Marina. The fuel dock is often used for transients. Excellent captain's lounge, showers and laundry right at the dock! Chart House Restaurant above Dockmaster's office. 24 hr dockmaster. Billy tied up a 100' er seconds before us and adroitly handled lines with Sarah. Sarah hooked up our hard to reach electrical plugs. Billy set up and took down our passerelle. First rate service!

We stopped here for fuel but became weathered in for several days. Shared the fuel dock with other boats all unable to leave because of rain and wind. The owner closed the fuel dock to accommodate us which we considered most helpful. All staff and the owner went out of their way to make our stay a good one.
Easy walk to town. Restaurant on the property. Showers outstanding. Didn't need groceries so not sure about distance - probably beyond a walk however there is a convenience store across the street and economical bus service close at hand.
Lots of depth for us - 9 feet or so in the entrance channel just off slack tide.
    Reasonable rates. Recommended.

We recently took our 40' trawler, to our favorite place for service, Daytona Boat Works. Over the past few years, we have had a shopping list of service requirements, as well as the updating of a few major mechanical systems. Management and crew has always been especially responsive to our needs. The work has always been completed quickly, professionally, and with more reasonable pricing than anywhere else we have been to on the East Coast.

Most recently the new owner has made significant improvements to the marina, as well as the work yard. His long term plans for Daytona Boat Works are inspiring. He shows passion for the business and treats his employees with respect. They in turn treat their customers the same way.

Our boat is currently on the hard now getting bottom work (best bottom jobs around) and repairs. Some of these repairs are complicated, but nothing seems too much for the employees of DBW. They are highly skilled individuals who work very hard. The manager is extremely competent and eager to please. He organizes the work, answers the phones, and then rolls his sleeves up and works right alongside with the crew.

You should give DBW a visit. Your boat will appreciate it !

I needed a haul out and service on cutless bearing on my boat. From the office staff (Elaine) to the dock staff (Bob) to the excellent service manager (Rich) this marina and service was the best. You need service - this is the place.

Highly recommend this boatyard. Only reason not 5 stars is long walk to showers/laundry and inconvenient after hours access. As a boatyard, I received exceptional service at very reasonable charge. I was not overcharged for any aspect of services provided. I definately received more assistance than I was billed for. Everyone bent over backwards to be accommodating. Very pleasant experience.

Went there as a transient. The facility is very nice and the dockmaster is extremely helpful. I was delighted to learn that they are open 24 hours a day so late arrivals and late fueling/pumpout is easily accommodated. Though I read a previous reviewer who said that repairs are quite expensive, I can say that the fuel prices reflected the going rate for this part of Florida and the dockage was also reasonably priced. Dockage also gets you a free appetizer at their "Chart House" restaurant which had great food in a pleasant environment. I will stop there every time when passing though from now on.

Stay away. I was overcharged at least double the going rate for work to my yacht. It took seven months to install two engines and transmissions and I was told that they did not have enough time to finish. After receiving my boat, I immediately had trouble with an engine on my way up the Intracoastal Waterway. Called for their help but no one came to my rescue. I was told by their manager that they had the same issue on the engine and did not know what it was nor did they have the proper tools to diagnose it. Stay away.
