Top notch marina located close to the shops and restaurants that make St. Michaels so charming. Found several new museums this year that made for a fun and informative visit, pool is small but clean. Did not use the restroom or laundry facilities. Pump out and fuel were available at our slip for maximum convenience, loaner truck was old and a bit difficult for a short person to get into (no running boards) but got the job done for a quick provision run.

Secure marina facility with very helpful dock staff. The "flag system" is very helpful for ease in finding the right dock. We were there for Independence Day and the fireworks were spectacular. Boaters lounge is convenient and dog friendly. We spent time there in the AC during the hot summer days. Close to restaurants and we even found a movie theater nearby, what a great perk for a hot afternoon entertainment.

Very close to town, naval academy and restaurants. Fixed docks make it hard to get on and off boat in extreme tide ranges. Dock hands are knowledgeable and very helpful. Fairways are a bit skinny with other boats anchors sticking out. Although docks are older they are in good condition. Did not use the restroom or laundry facilities. Good wifi. Lots of things to see and do in Annapolis and this is a good place to be as any.

First timer at this marina and loved it. We travelled with a large group of boats and they put many of us together on the beach wall. Although a little walk to the facilities, it was like having our own private marina. Beautifully maintained grounds and walkways and lots of shade. Pool is large with lots of chairs, the restaurant was nice if a little loud and the shops across the street had a nice selection of sandwiches and items boaters need. The shuttle goes on demand to the nearby town. Truly a resort marina or a caliber you don't see much. Dock help needs a bit of training on the layout of the marina and which side you would "tie" on. It' a little late by the time you arrive at your slip to set up for docking. Otherwise this place is perfect.

The upgrade to floating docks and the new bath house with individual bathrooms was wonderful surprise. A+ facility. Pool was excellent on a hot day and the tiki bar was a nice place for a quick lunch. She kept the hydration coming as well for our group! Extensive grounds and a cute neighborhood make dog walking fun. Met a lot of nice people along the way. The new restaurant was excellent. My new #1 stop at Solomons.

One of the friendliest places to be on the Chesapeake Bay. The hospitality is awesome from the owner down to the dock hands. Travelled with our Yacht Club group and they allowed us to use their meeting room to avoid the heat for our pot luck dinner. Pool is small but clean and restroom facilities are clean as well. Grills and picnic tables are great for a group gathering. Although the channel is skinny it is well marked and is easy in/to the Chesapeake Bay. Dog friendly too. We will be back.

An interesting stop for a night to get ready to cross the lake. When we arrived Capt. Sam advised that a bass tournament was happening and there were 50 boats coming into the dock. He would have to clear a spot for our boat, we were on the end of the dock and thank goodness as it was a Saturday night and the tiki bar was rocking. We did not use any of the facilities, but it was a good 1 night stop.

First time stay for 2 nights. Beautiful marina property with clean facilities, a pool and fitness center. Many long term returning boaters are a tight group. Stayed on fixed piers and unfortunately during a NE wind which made for a rough couple of days. Fortunately they calmed down at night for sleeping comfort. A bit out of the way for visiting downtown Stuart but we were aware of that prior to booking. Staff was friendly but we had the bad fortune of having a brand new dockhand on duty who had no idea how to tie up our boat in high winds. Made for a rocky start.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay at this marina. We were in a secure location and very close to the awesome boaters lounge. It's like a little house. The only difficulty that arose was the difficulty using the TV. It is not very intuitive..Walking our dogs wasn't the best experience and dogs aren't really welcomed at the beach or restaurant so they spent a lot of time onboard. Restaurant and pool were very busy. Had to use the shuttle to get there. Staff was e trembly helpful and welcoming and we were inside so had a very smooth night with great sleep.

Beautiful location and great staff. Had a wonderful 1 night stay here, however the wind shifted to NE and our night was like living in a washing machine. As long as you have favorable wind direction this would be a wonderful stop, laundry room has 1 washer and 1 dryer, but very economical prices, showers are private, restaurant was excellent. Loved the access to the beach and town. We rented a go,d cart, but could have easily walked where we wanted to go. Still recovering from Ian damage, but so glad we were able to spend a night here even with the rocky conditions.

Spent a rocky first night here due to wind, but Dockmaster was able to change our slip from face dock to slip where everything was calm. Conveniently located near 3rd Street shops. Great farmers market on Saturday. No wifi, we didn't use the laundry or showers. The only complaint is that it is a public dock and there were many gawkers/lookin loos that walked past our boat on a daily basis.

Dockmaster and staff were awesome. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants on 5th Avenue. Quiet dock with more staff than transients. A bit noisy as it is located on the flight path of Naples Airport, but would stay again if given a chance. Nice pool.

Once again a highlight stay of our journey south. Staff is excellent and the proximity to downtown shops and restaurants is excellent. Laundry room is clean and well maintained with 5 working washers and dryers. $2 per load. Boaters lounge is large, clean and comfortable as were the restroom facilities. Many friendly boats were there. Secured gates and added walkway lighting this year. Pump out worked extremely well considering we were far away from the shore. Hats off to Ken and his staff.

We left our boat here for storage during the holidays. When we first arrived they were able to do a quick haul to determine if we needed to just clean or to paint the bottom. Then Hurricane Nicole decided to come while we were away. Staff was very helpful with boat updates and getting our power and inverter turned off and then on again. Well protected cove except for the 5' storm surge. Many of the docks in the boatyard side sustained damage. Our boat was fine. When we arrived back to pick her up the work they had done was awesome. Bottom and running gear painting were meticulous. Replaced all zincs too. Competitive rates and exceptional staff. The transient dock was full for our first night aboard but they found a way to accommodate our schedule and provisioning. Would stay again.

Zachary and Tom (owners extradonaire couldn't leave their tenants with no where to eat. They fired up the grill and cooked hot dogs and burgers and provided chips and dessert for their tenants. Loved it. Dock hands are exceptional. Now offer pump out at your slip as well. Laundry and bathrooms are excellent. The ability to have a golf cart for an hour and a half is great. I was looking for a place to dock for the night about halfway between Beaufort and Jekyll that still had inlet access in case the weather allowed an outside run going South. This marina fit the bill. Staff is very friendly and helpful, power was steady, but the floating docks were very rustic. The roadway into the marina property is filled with historic live oaks full of Spanish moss and the many historical homes on the property were fun to look at and imagine. Restaurant is only open Wednesday-Saturday but the facilities looked beautiful. Restrooms were inside the store and were basic but clean. Current runs hard through the creek but alongside docking was easy. Plenty of water in the creek. Not sure I would stay again, but worked well for staging the outside run option of our journey

As usual the folks at Safe Harbour Beaufort were friendly and professional. Fast flowing tidal waters can sometimes make this marina a challenge for docking, but the experienced staff is experienced in docking in those conditions. Nice laundry facilities with multiple machines at a reasonable price. Bathroom facilities could use some upgrading. Gates are locked at night for added security. Have stayed here in both fair and foul weather. Plenty to do off the boat. More restaurants than there are days to spend here and haven't met a bad one yet. Took a historic golf cart tour for insight on some historic homes and movies shot here. Fun place to visit.

Love this marina and town. Marina has the cleanest and nicest laundry and bath facilities for a small marina. Staff is awesome. Very helpful. Easy fuel and pump out. Seems to me that Georgetown has more restaurants than any town of this size. 3 new ones have opened this past year. Had an excellent (but pricey) meal at SoCo Chop House. Museums ( free mariners and rice museum) are open and very interesting. 1st Thursdays are a sip and shop evening so downtown stores are open until 7. Stop by the historical society and buy a $10 book which has the history of each o the historic homes in town. A unique number identifies each one,. A bit confusing entering the basin from north or south, but if you pay attention it is easy. Walk off the docks and you have arrived. Very dog friendly with a new dog park in East Bay Park. A slightly long walk to a dog park, but my furry crew enjoys the off leash time.

As usual the staff here was awesome. Went above and beyond to make sure we arrived safely with the current and wind. Great advice for the speed of the current and wind. Once dock, fuel was readily available and steps away were the many shops and restaurants in Beaufort, Aqua, Beaufort Grocery, Moonrakers, Beaufort Olive Oil Shop and the new taco shop was awesome. Dog friendly and many historical homes to view. Bathrooms were very rustic. Laundry is public which means that there were a dozen or so washers and dryers. A little pricey at $2.75 for wash and $2.00 for a dryer, but it was done quickly in multiple machines. Multiple Loaner cars are available and got us to a local grocery store as well as the West Marine, Harris Teeter, and TJ Maxx in Morehead City (a lot of fun window shopping for a few minutes). Love this town and love this marina. Just completed our 7th visit.

The store is fairly well equipped for everyday items and has a good wine collection. Did not use the restroom/shower facilities, but our buddy boat passengers did and said it was rustic and certainly a "city" maintained type facility. We spent a couple of weeks here recently. The staff is friendly and efficient. Lots of workers and livesaboards who were helpful. No fuel as the lines were being replaced. Pump out at slip was very efficient. Felt very secure with gates and security. Laundry facilities were adequate and clean and reasonably priced. Peanut Island and Palm Beach sight seeing were fun and close by although Peanut Island can be crowded and noisy on the weekends. My biggest complaint is based upon being a dog owner. There is a beautiful park adjacent to the marina and the grass has many chicken and rib bones. Very unsatisfying to walk your dog and say "leave it" every few feet. Many homeless in the park but all were friendly and no one was panhandling. 24 hour security and gate code access to marina made for a safe feeling, even with high winds while we were there the marina was very smooth. Given its commercial neighbor and 24 hour port operations most nights were very quiet.
