Halifax Harbor Marina was outstanding! We stayed two nights waiting out some weather and catching up on work. We had hoped to catch an MiLB game but they were on the road. The staff were all excellent, the facilities were in great shape and clean, and the concrete floating docks were in really nice condition. From the moment we arrived at the fuel dock (great fuel prices btw) on a very windy afternoon - "Coach" was managing everything - welcomed us to the Marina, grabbed the lines, coordinated two other boats arriving for dockage, briefed us on the facilities and the area, and caught our lines at our slip. Very quiet Marina with wide fairways. Well kept and manicured grounds. One of our favorite stops - we will be back for sure. Highly recommended.

Spent 1 night here enroute. Good security with capable and friendly staff. Example- the lock on the gate to our pier malfunctioned on a Sunday morning. Once notified, the staff had it fixed within the hour. Helpful fuel attendants. Friendly live aboard community.

All of the docks and associated equipment appear to be in top notch condition. Good voltages with ample current capacity were observed at our dock. The staff is capable and friendly. The locked gates seemed to be quite secure. There are lots of places to eat/drink in the neighborhood. This is back a channel from the Halifax River and no wakes were felt back where we were. Grills are allowed to be used at your boats which is so convenient.

4/22/23 Big marina and great facility! Here for one night. Team was superb — great help with lines in a good breeze and made sure all was good before he left us. Fueled up in the am with best diesel price in the area.

This is a top-notch marina. It has well-protected floating docks, a pleasure in this part of Florida. Shore facilities are adequate but not fancy. We enjoyed a Daytona Tortugas minor-league ballgame -- affordable fun! You can walk to the library, lovely walking parks, over the bridge to the beach, and tons of restaurants. The bus was an efficient way to provision.

We stayed here in June so thought we would stop by again. We enjoyed everything about this marina that we did last time except the internet. We were on F dock last time and this time on J dock. Not sure if internet has changed or if it was our location but on J dock it was horrible. It is the same onspot wifi but the service was just much worse. The marina is very nice and the dock hands are always awesome. All the staff are friendly and always helpful. The docks all have security gates and require a key card to get through. Downtown with shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Wal-mart will deliver to this marina so did not have to worry about a nearby grocery store.

We stopped here for 3 nights on our way up North. We are a catamaran so we were on an end dock. It is well protected marina from wake so the end dock was very comfortable. The price was perfect at $1.70 per ft. We booked with Dockwa and staff were very helpful with responding to questions on Dockwa. When we arrived fuel/pump out dock was very easy to get into. After we fueled the dock guys helped us get tied up on dock and checked us in there. They gave us 2 key cards to get in gates, restrooms, and laundry room. The restrooms were average but appeared to always be clean. Grocery store within a couple of miles. Several restaurants within walking distance. Our favorite was McK's. Check out their website for their daily specials which were very affordable. We also visited Copper Bottom Distillery which is about 3 miles away. Best vodka I have ever had! The distillery is definitely worth a visit. On Satrudays there is a Farmers Market within walking distance. Hours are supposed to be 7 to 1 but we showed up at 11am and the 2 vendors left were packing up so skip the boat work and go early. We were on the end of F dock and wifi worked awesome for us. Next time we are in this area we will definitely stop here again.

Halifax Harbor Marina is a large, first class city owned marina. We stayed, early April 2022, in the southern basin on I dock.

The docks in the southern basin (sorry, can't speak to the northern basin) are floating concrete docks. Wide, very well maintained and stable. Easily accessible water and power. Each slip also has a lockable (use your own lock) box. Access to the docks, bath houses, and laundries are via a wireless nearfield key card. All facilities were very clean. Dockhands were available as requested and professional. We arrived on an extremely windy day (15-20 knts, gusts to 35) but the wide slips and skills of the line handler made backing in easy.

Price was, IMHO, very reasonable for a stop on the AICW right near a budding entertainment district. Several restaurants, clubs, and the historic Jackie Robinson Baseball Park are within easy walking distance. Ride share is available for further trips, and to go over to the beach side.

An easy access fuel/pump out pier is in the southern basin. There are no haul out facilities, but owners/contractors are permitted to work on boats in the slip. More than ample parking.

I'd certainly recommend Halifax Harbor for an overnight or longer stay.

Service was fine. Reserved a slip for one night, easy enough to get into the assigned slip. It was after closing, so no help available. However, info on Dockwa was outdated. No good website for the marina.

5 star service at a city marina is an anomaly, but the staff was wonderful. There to offer help. Easy access to ICW. Very safe and secure floating docks. Many improvements are underway making this a top notch facility. Enjoyed the small downtown area for dining. Nearby Italian deli, citrus store and candy shop are some of the wonderful places to visit nearby.

This is a larger marina with floating docks. Easy in and out via well marked channel off of the AICW. Also easy access for fueling near entrance. We were checked in right at our slip by the dockhand so no long walks to the marina store to pay. We were also given access cards for the locked gates at the top of each dock and a brochure with tons of info re marina, local area, Uber. etc. Power, water, docks, cleats and facilities all in good condition.

Good dock hands; very large marina. They check you in at the slip saving a trip to the office. Return the gate keys at the fuel dock on your way out by dropping them in a fish net held by dock hand. Wifi was marginal, but I suspect it varies by where you are in the marina. Can walk to several restaurants.
