Goose Creek - Campbell Creek

Description:
Anchorage is up Campbell Creek at the mouth of Smith Creek. Lots of crab traps right before the anchorage, then none. This is a nice quiet anchorage that's pretty well protected and good if you have a dinghy and need to get a dog to shore; take the dinghy about a mile up Smith Creek to the boat ramp there. Some boat ramp users will come by during the day but quiet at night.

Holding was very good, mud. Fishing buoys lining both sides throughout anchorage. Depth good for us at 7'

Easy overnight stop. Just off the AICW & anchor in 9-12'. No shore access, but very quiet at night. Usual small & occasional large boat traffic stops each night

5kts breeze kept the bugs away. No traffic. Anchored in 9' near low, in mud. Just moved out of the channel and dropped the hook. Nice spot. No shore access.
