Great location! 48 hrs free docking right downtown. Walk to restaurants, shops, historical sites. Staff was responsive, friendly and helpful. Private coded showers for boaters looked ok. Courtesy car (newer Ford Escape) was available till 6:30 pm. As previous reviewer noted, a south wind rolls through the marina. Strong south winds will guarantee a sleepless night on the T head. We loved exploring this town. Highly recommend starting with a trolley tour.

Free (48 hours) city dock next to a small park with launch ramp. No problem getting through the S Bridge. Called approximately 1 hour out and the bridge tender was on site when we arrived. Very quiet and protected. We pulled up to T head at the fixed dock. Dock was in good condition. 50 amp power and water both in working order. Arrived on a Sunday so not much open but Mars Creamery was a couple blocks away and served excellent ice cream at a very reasonable price. We found this to be a fine stop for a quick overnight and enjoyed the beautiful view of the sunset over the water.

Not a fancy place but perfectly adequate for the one night we spent on the face dock. Very protected from wind and waves. Entrance was shallow. We draft 3'6" and showed less than 3' under the keel. Dock master was very helpful both over the phone and at the dock. Private bathrooms with showers were functional and clean as was laundry room. This is a gas station on the highway so there is a bit of road noise and some pedestrian traffic from gas station customers interested in checking out the boats on the face dock. Neither was a problem. Station closes at 7:00 so it quiets down after that.

Great stop! Staff very responsive over phone and in person. Fixed docks in good condition. Well lit at night. Fuel and pump out available in the slip. Private, climate controlled bath/showers cleaned daily with towels and soap/shampoo provided. Fleet of electric golf carts at your disposal- day and night. Bikes, pickleball, dog park, picnic pavilions on site. All well maintained. Bistro 1904, onsite, was very good. Would highly recommend if you are in town when they are open.

We loved our stay at Clancy's. Small marina with one dock. Location is very quiet and protected. Floating dock in excellent condition. The view was absolutely beautiful. Owners live onsite and are readily available and respond quickly to inquiries. Easy walk downtown to shops and restaurants. Loaner bikes will get you anywhere in town. Nice grill and patio area. Restrooms with showers are newly redone and very clean. The Piggly Wiggly truck will come pick you up with just a phone call.

Great location. Right off ICW. Well protected. Tied up to T- head. Floating docks in excellent condition. Light traffic from small boat launch just past Marina, but not bothersome. Staff was attentive and helpful. Clean, climate controlled restrooms and laundry room. 2 washers and 2 dryers all in working order. Courtesy car (Ford Escape) was always available when needed. Wonderful restaurant, City Kitchen, on site. Great food. Great service. Always busy. Make reservations! Tiki bar and patio opens at 3:00 on days restaurant is open. Easy walk to downtown Beaufort- restaurants, shops, ferries. Highly recommend visiting Maritime Museum downtown. Also enjoyed a visit to Bonehenge Whale Center (must make reservations) which is a short walk from Marina.

Nice long floating docks with long finger piers. Dock hands were helpful and right on the spot to help with docking. Restrooms and showers clean and climate controlled. Stores and restaurants on site are convenient and make for a fun spot. New loaner bikes (actually trikes). Great biking through Seabrook Island. Easy walk or ride down trail to nearby shopping center-Harris Teeter grocery, lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Can be a long walk from far docks to laundry and restrooms. Great stop. Would return.

Docked on ICW side of T- head which was a fixed dock with wood pilings on the outside of dock. Have fender boards in place if wind and waves will push you towards dock. Dock hands were waiting and ready to push us off dock if needed (it was). Winds from the south, along with wakes from ICW will cause significant rocking and movement. That, along with fixed dock may make boat access difficult at times. Staff was helpful. 2 restrooms and 1 shower were clean but not climate controlled, so a bit hot and muggy. Location is good. Very close to downtown shops and restaurants.

Resort amenities were good. Pool, splash pad, outdoor games, music at night, fireworks on the 4th, all lots of fun. Restrooms and showers were clean but very busy as resort was full.
Wouldn't recommend anyone over 35ft attempt to dock at this marina. Slips are directly on ICW. Current, heavy traffic and wakes make docking challenging. No dockhands available to help. No security or gates on the marina docks. Resort security guard leaves at midnight. There were security issues on the docks while we were there. The situation was addressed appropriately, but unless security is increased, the problem will not be resolved.

Dockhand tied us up and hooked up our power. Easy in and out on floating t-head. Basin was very protected from weather and waves. Occasional rocking from ferries. Not bothersome. Free laundry, clean bathrooms, nice pool with tables and chairs. Friendly live-a-boards. Southport is a great town to explore.

Floating face docks in good condition. Isaac and Susan were waiting to get us tied up and power hooked up. Lot of traffic, both boat and cars. We were not bothered by either one. Couldn't use restrooms as restaurant is not open on Mondays.

We cannot comment on the marina other than to say that they do not accept transient boaters. This was confirmed by a call to their office.

Good stopover before lock on Tenn- Tom. Very remote and serene area. Well protected and off the river. Slips on an open dock. Megan, the dock master gave good approach directions over phone and was waiting on dock to help us in. Bathrooms were clean. Nice boaters lounge. Invited us to Halloween party the next night. Sadly, we had to move on.

Nice anchorage if you can fit in. We are 41' and were able to spin around with about 8-10' to spare in front and back. Deep water (8'+) all the way to the snags where you can not go any further. Room for 4 boats or more if you raft. We used bow and stern anchor. They came up a little muddy but held well in what little wind came through the trees.

Good deep water anchorage. Good hold in muddy bottom. Well protected. Anchored with 3 other boats. Room for several more. Very quiet yet close to Mobile. A few fishing boats on the cut-off channel. Serene and peaceful.

Nice little marina. Nothing fancy but a good stop after coming off the rivers. Bill was waiting for us on the docks as we approached. Very helpful and accommodating. Side ties on one long dock. The bathrooms were clean. Didn't use or check the shower. Laundry room was clean. 2 washers and 2 dryers. $2.00 each. The outside bar was not open the days we were there but still provide a nice covered seating area with an outside tv. Restaurant over marina open Wednesday through Sunday. Food and service were great.
