Location is great near the government dock and golf cart rental places. This is a working boatyard so busy during the day but very quiet at night. We enjoyed people watching and the locals are very nice. Robert the owner goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need and they have a nice selection of boat parts, supplies, etc. Very few slips but will try to accommodate you for as long as you need.

Beautiful marina rebuilt completely after Hurricane Dorian. Staff is very attentive and helpful. The private bathrooms and showers are the best I've seen and rivals top marinas in the states. For a treat the Renu day spa across the street next to the liquor store offers mani/ pedis, massage, facials, waxing, etc. in a nice, quiet setting.

Found a gem in great fuel price at Pier 98 Marina in Pitts Bayou. Along with great fuel there's a Tiki bar, nice showers, WiFi, store, breakfast and lunch, open 5:30 am to 8 pm at night year round. They also have a great full tackle shop and live bait. Cheapest fuel around right off the ICW.

Great anchorage, little wavy in West wind. Very quiet and peaceful even with a rental party boat near. Lots of swing room and plenty of space for 30 boats.

Great place and very accommodating. With a choice to stay here or their sister property Killarney Mountain Lodge, the choice is very clear. The Mountain Lodge was rude when I called, and the place was swarming with kids. It has a very nice workout room, however. The sportsman Inn helped with a package delivery from the states and the shuttle from the George island side to the Inn was awesome. They even offered a personal car to go the post office a block away in case the package was heavy. Great restaurant and bar on site as well!

Omg, I can't say enough wonderful things about this marina. Originally we had pulled in to the city dock across the canal to stay at the free dock. Since it was completely full we decided to anchor out. Upon learning that Steven across the canal at Schaefers marina was an expert on the canal, we dinghy'ed over to get the scoop! He was very knowledgeable and even told us to wait a day for the weather to pass so we could have an enjoyable "ride" downstream the Delaware Bay with the current. Needless to say, we pulled up anchor and cruised over the canal to stay at Schaefers for $2 a foot(weekday), which in our book was priceless for the local knowledge. The restaurant was amazing as well especially the hot crab dip! Steven even told us the best time to leave so we weren't fighting the current and tide. This was One of the best looper stops in our experience!

Wonderful marina with amazing staff and helpful other boaters. The courtesy car was much needed for the hour We had it for a quick Walmart run. Great restaurant on site. Our Boat neighbors were so helpful while docking in a strong wind. Also Ted, another boater was so helpful when we had a slight electrical problem. Very peaceful marina even when it was full!

Beautiful marina with great bar, pool, hot tub, and restaurant. Transient dockage was $3.00 ft not $2 as listed. Very polite and helpful staff. Stayed on the T head so fuel was at our fingertip! Depth was never an issue, fast moving current.
