Sunrise cruise through the lock and west-bound down the Chicago River is spectacular, relaxing and free of any river traffic. Sunrise illuminates the city.

Hard bottom. First time ever our Rocna did not set immediately. We moved 100' and it set in the 2nd location. Tight spot, ~150' wide with 6' depths ON OUR DAY. Water levels fluctuate. Current held us securely in down stream orientation even with opposing 10 mph wind.

Beautiful anchorage! NOAA chart is correct with >4' down the middle. Today Huron is +36" above datum and we saw >7' down middle to the northern most 4' mark on the NOAA chart. Mud bottom and good holding. Room for >30 boats. Poor, but some ATT & Verizon signal. Popular spot, lots of room. ~3 miles to Drummond Island; Yacht Haven let us tie our dinghy for a few hours. Also, Veterans Memorial Park has a dock for dinghies.

Same as 2019 review, except lower dock has 30A only. For 50A use the higher seawall.

Great Staff! They called me morning of arrival and gave me our slip assignment and arrival instructions. Why don't all marinas do this? Nice walking trails near the marina.

We ducked in here as a gale approached. Could not have been better. They put us in an oversized slip inside a T, plenty of stout pilings on which to tie. Waves crashed on their new sea wall but it was nicely calm inside the marina. After the gale, Muskrat Festival was held in the adjacent park. I can honestly say I have never had better muskrat!
Great marina, great service. We will return.

Good firm mud bottom. Weak to no Verizon and ATT data signals. Fine for calls. Anchored due East of the Tuckahoe Point Stumps and never saw less than 6' of water.

3 hour limit, no overnight. Rough side-to dock, due to ICW wakes and fetch.
There is a golf cart rental desk under a tree, but it was unattended. We walked a mile but there was nothing to see near this dock.

Friendly, competent staff. Cute town to walk and get a meal. Cheap diesel.
We overnighted side-to on their $1.75/ft transient dock and filled our tanks.
    We will be back!

Deep but plenty of room to let out rode and swing. Verizon cellular internet was high speed. Great stars at night; little light pollution.
