Great stop for a night if you can't make Lil Diversion (NB) or Angelo Towhead (SB). Great holding in between several of the rock dikes in 10+ft of water at low pool. 100 yards inside of the reds. AIS transponder is nice here, but safe without it.

It's been 6 years, but everything is as wonderful as it was the first time. Thankfully, as we have been here for over 2 weeks waiting out locks to re-open from high water. There is not a more welcoming bunch than the folks here at KYC. You do have to dock on the seawall exposed to the river with big boats. Fender and tie well, NE winds or wakes will shake you around a bit.

7-1-2018: Harbor conditions are not perfect, however Fuel can be pumped on the outside wall now if you need, best price for gas since I got on the water.

While there sure are other bigger places with fancier set-ups you cannot beat the people here. They open up the entire Yacht Club to you, they take care of you like you were a member for years. Yes over 5' draft is limited. but if you can, the hospitality makes up for anything amenities you might miss. Best stop since Clinton!

A great stop as always. Great location and plenty in walking distance. For deeper drafts, what Mel Price dam is doing directly effects water levels. If the dam is open, the fast current actually lowers the marina level as it sucks past the entrance. When the dam holds back, water tends to be higher because of the slowed flow. The city has contracted the marina out to a private company. Fuel prices are higher than they used to be, but service levels seem just as good as always.

Much needed fuel stop for many, we fueled because it was the best price ahead of us for quite some time. It is not what it once was, but be thankful it is still here for those that need the fuel stop. We pass by in the fall to leave a space for someone that needs it more. Otherwise we stop just to do our part to keep it around! Debbie, the daughter is running the place now and again very glad to see it in operation!

Always great holding, and great protection. Contrary to some reviews you CAN get in here when the water is low, note the wall of rock on the downstream half of the entrance on your chart. Don't go over it enter on the upstream half. You will get an occasional fishing boat wake you, but half will slow down and be respectful.

Great stop, very peaceful. Anchor came up clean. The marker on Active Captain is in deeper into the cove. We used that marker. There is a AC note of a log half way in that eats anchors. Go in deep and you are fine, and better protected. Had ATT service, but did not note strength as we have starlink.

Terrible for cruisers! No fixed pumpout, only a mobile barge that they charge $30 for and if you are a high deck cruising boat, more often than not it cannot pull through the deck fitting. They built a new store, good luck finding it actually open. They will take your money if you stop, offer you the store manager's wife's car to go eat. The poorly maintained bath house is about a 1/2 mile walk from where they put you. They cater to a handful of "weekend warrier" houseboaters and that is all the managing owner is interested in. No food, no repairs other than bandaids. I stuck it out here just over 3 years because of the location. No More. We got out of here first of the year. The place has alot of potential if it would get a new owner and competent clear-headed staff!

Great facility, people, gosh everything. 4 bars Verizon plus good Wifi.
Caution- Summer time wakes are a problem being located right on the main channel.

Very friendly staff, $1.10/ft dockage (no reservations FCFS) and typically cheaper fuel than the rest of the Pickwick Lake marinas. The Inn will pick you up for dinner, or there is a courtesy dock near it for a quick meal stop.
2-3 bars of Verizon, good speeds.

Great anchorage unless there is floating debris in the river. Current will keep you pointing south. Dinghy access to the island for pets, LDB of the river is all private property. Very beautiful, plus a great place to fish while you are there.

Great transient stop. $1/ft, covered slips & end tie. This is my home marina now, but great for loopers passing through as well.
