Tied up between the first two dolphins when headed west. They are spaced at about 40' or so. Cleats aren't super high and were easy enough to get to. Bow and stern line.

Anchored here for one night moving a Lagoon 380 to KW

Holding is great. It is shallow at about 6-6.2

Lots of wake during the day but not bad at night.

HYCM is possibly the nicest marina I have stayed at between Stuart and Annapolis. The staff are just as friendly as I remembered them. Jim, Samantha, and Scott all remembered me from my prior stay. All of the staff are incredibly friendly. You'll be pressed to find a marina with the amenities HYCM provides.

This is a great anchorage that is close to just about everything Stuart has to offer. Being a great anchorage also means there will be lots of boats anchored. There is a free dinghy dock/wharf at Shepard's Park just across the way to the right of Sunset Bay Marina. Sailor's Return is a great restaurant nearby that has room to tie up dinghies. The bottom is mud. This is a great stop before or after exiting the St Lucy lock(hopefully open soon).

There is good holding here, and you are close to everything Cocoa Village has to offer.

The only negative is there is some piracy going on in this anchorage. A lot of the derelict vessels that were kicked out of the local marinas wound up here, and brought the reasons they were kicked out with them. Leave a light on, or a radio, and keep your boat locked. You'll most likely be fine, but there is no reason to risk it.

Wind protection is pretty good, and N wind is blocked by the bridge/park. Exposed to S wind.

Use the free dock at the NW side of the anchorage to get to shore.

There are a lot of dog friendly establishments here, so bring them along. I recommend Von Stephan Village Bier Garten.

I have landed my dinghy here a couple times for fun. The docks are exceptionally nice, and floating. They can get pretty busy during the "Great Migration", and it is not uncommon for multiple boats to raft together. The location is excellent. You are right in the heart of Cocoa Village, and there is a lot to see here. The area is heavily trafficked, so make sure to bring valuables with you, or keep boat/dinghy locked.

I was planning on staying here a couple nights to wait for a slip at Coco Village Marina, but the boat wake and waves from wind fetch made it pretty rough. 6.8-7' low tide. Go slow enough you can power off if you get grounded. I bumped 2 times.

    Bottom is sandy mud.

This anchorage has worked out great for me every time I have used it, even in a blow. Usually anchor in 10-12' and set 70' 3/8 G4 and a Mantus 45. Haven't drug here with that setup. Boats using all rode or undersized anchors might be the ones dragging. Currently 7 boats in the anchorage, and room for at least 10 more.

Had originally planned on leaving my boat here for Hurricane season. I purchased Hurricane straps that were said to have been installed the following day. Plans changed suddenly and I returned to the boat a month later to find nothing had been done and the boat was leaning on the stands. Haul and launch was $450 or so. Overall just not a great experience. Will only stop here again if no where else is available.

Great anchorage. Stayed for 4 nights. Holding was great. There were only a couple boats there, and had plenty of room for sufficient scope. I cannot comment on shore access because I never left the boat.

This could be a great stop. Some of the liveaboards need to go. Lots of late night screaming. Lock everything up. Docks are in poor shape as well. I will never stay here again or recommend this marina to anyone.

Stayed on a mooring for a week. I had a great experience, but only dealt with marina staff once. I would stay again. Dinghy Dock gets crowded, so plan on leaving your outboard down and using a long line to secure the dinghy.

Excellent marina. Some of the friendliest staff I have encountered. Jim and Nick are awesome. Great facilities and a great restaurant on site. The pool is very nice and is clean. I would stay here year round if I wasn’t cruising. The parking is tight near the marina entrance, but there is ample parking further down the lot. Just a bit of a walk if it is raining.

I loved this marina. I tied up here for a couple days for rest. The channel getting into the marina area is quite narrow. It was a little bouncy getting in, and there was some traffic. Go slow and you’ll be fine. The restaurant is amazing! The pool is a nice feature as well. I will definitely stop again.

Very nice people. This yard has a family feel to it, and they will go out of their way to help you. I was sent here to correct issues a yard in Sparrows Point created, and they went above and beyond to get everything sorted out. I will definitely use them in the future if the need arises. Sailboats might have to wait until high tide to get into the travel lift, but the yard is huge and there are great local bars/restaurants down the street to grab a drink or dinner after working on the boat. Thanks again!

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Depth is good. I have had no issues with the facilities. The beach area is a great spot to hangout. The marina is a little exposed to weather sometimes but that happens almost anywhere.
