What an incredible boatyard/Marina ! We needed to conduct engine service on our Yamaha outboard before entering Canada on the Loop. Called and scheduled service a week in advance and planned to arrive on Thursday with haul out and service on Friday. A power outage at the Erie Canal locks 20 &21 delayed our arrival a day. We called Winter Harbor and kept them abreast of our delayed arrival. When we arrived at 10:30AM Friday, the lift was in the slip and staff guided us in for an immediate haul out. The Technicians and staff were Amazing! Had us take care of and back in the water by 1:30pm. Staff walked us around the beautiful property , facilities, and ships store (which was amazing). The grounds and facilities were immaculate. We have never seen a boatyard this well managed, welcoming, and squared away! Two curtesy cars were a huge benefit with great grocery stores, beverage store, and an Ace Hardware plus a Home Depot within a 15 min drive. Good restaurants just a mile away on the water. the docks were in great shape and their fuel island was self help, open 24/7 and really were the most competitive prices in the region. Dockage rates were among the most reasonable that we have encountered in 2,500 miles of the Great Loop thus far. When we reached our slip - we met several looper friends, and made new ones. Had a great evening grilling and dock tailing in the outstanding pavilion overlooking the Erie Canal. Oh and the ladies in the office were soooo welcoming - they also make great almond brownies and coffee cake too !! We met new friends who hail from within 50 miles of our home in TN and have wintered their boat here since 2016..... after spending a couple of days here - we understand why. If you need any type of maintenance performed, or a heated winter storage - we highly recommend Winter Harbor Marina and Boatyard. Honestly, we hated to leave ! We will be back for sure, and plan an extended stay here.

Very helpful staff. The grounds are immaculate and very nice. Restrooms are top-notch. Moorage rates are well below other marinas. Diesel is also very competitively priced. Docks are modern with reliable power. There are a couple of restaurants accessible by dinghy

Wow !! All I can say is " what a great place " great staff , incredibly accommodating. They were able to get us in last minute quiet , clean, great fuel price for diesel, laundry and when you check in, they give you a little tour. They also have parts and service here. I would highly recommend staying at this marina.

Winter Harbor is a great place to stop. We spent two nights and enjoyed our stay. The summer staff were back in school but the rest of the staff did a great job of assisting with docking. The diesel price is the best around. Good clean bathrooms and laundry room. The fuel is "self serve" like at pumping fuel at a gas station. People can pump their own gas or diesel twenty-four hours a day. They have one courtesy car that we used for a Walmart run. Highly recommend this marina.

Likely the most organized marina we have visited. Welcomed right from the start by a dock hand at the fuel dock. Which I might add is the lowest price fuel we have seen since Delaware. Bathrooms looked new, modern and super clean. Two courtesy cars, which we used to get some Chinese and a quick Walmart supply run. The parts department is huge and has just about any part imaginable. Dock was easy to get in and out. Super quiet. Marina made us feel special. What a fantastic stop.

This is probably the best value marina that we have stayed at on the great loop. The marina has a great grounds area with grassy spaces for dogs (although I had to borrow our friends else's to use it), and has loaner vehicles (my wife used it). The dock hand Griffin was a charm. Although he treated us like we had just stepped onto a boat yesterday (we have years of experience), he was one of the most polite young men we have met. Now that I have passed through, I would suggest that they raise their prices - lol.

Stopped here to have work done and see family in the area. Staff was top notch as was the work we had done! Highly recommend. Best bathrooms we've seen for quite some time, 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. TWO courtesy cars available to get to either Wegman's or Walmart. Well maintained marina we'll definitely visit again.

I will give the staff in the office a 5 star rating. Especially Leslie the general manger. Our stay here was great with an exception. The exception is the service manager. He gets a negative rating.
We scheduled work to be completed a month in advance of our arrival. Upon our arrival it was one excuse after another. It was not completed because the service manager can't schedule his way out of a paper bag. If you say you're going to complete work on a certain day. Do it. Don't lip service customers. I do not recommend any looper or cruiser to have work performed here especially if you are a transient. Transient work is low priority. My honest opinion he should be fired. He was rude and unprofessional when we asked when our work would be done. Never again. Lesson learned.

Great little marina! Tom, the owner makes it feel like home. Planters are spread out on the docks with beautiful arrangements. There is a veggie garden for those dockers that come and can harvest. Clean bath and shower areas, loaner car, grills, gazebo, what more could you ask for! Oh, and the dock fee! $.90/foot! Crazy cheap! Great fuel prices also!

Left our boat here for several weeks while flying back home to take care of some things. Felt very safe having our boat here. Facilities are clean and nice. They have a courtesy car which helps as nothing is in walking distance. Had oil changed by marina staff. A little frustrating communicating with office staff along our stay.

Winter Harbor is now our favorite marina on the loop. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and efficient. They greated us at the fuel dock and filled our tanks. They also pumped out our head before helping us move to our spot. The facility has nice bathroom/showers (2 each for men and women) and laundry (2 sets). They have a fabulous ships store that had almost everything we needed (new set of round fenders, zincs and hose vents) and we ordered a few other items. There's a nice grass field, pavilion and BBQ grills. They even have 2 loaner cars! We drove downtown to the grocery store and an auto parts store (to pick up an oil filter wrench). We changed the oil in our engine and the marina staff took it away for recycling. They also have heated winter storage and a boatyard. All for very reasonable rates. This marina is definitely a do over!

We had a five star stay here 6/2/22. We came in needing a small plumbing repair and had it handled quickly by a friendly man affiliated with the marina. While we were there we decided to have them give us a short haul. This happened within minutes of our request. The haul out crew gave us valuable advice. The fuel prices are the best in the area. The showers and restrooms are neat. There's an impressive marine store. Great place to set your boat up for the next stage of your trip.

What a great place. We got "stuck" here due to flooding for 8 days. I could not think of a better place to be. The staff is first class and well trained. The parts department is second to none and if they don't have it you can probably get it the next day. The grounds are maintain like a garden. All good.

More of a boat yard than a marina, but a fine marina too. Spent the night here to get engine work. Good WiFi. Clean facilities, friendly staff. Tom the owner was always around making sure things were well run.

We came in with an intermittent starting problem. Of course, the boat started fine when we were there, but the technician, Joe, was not deterred. He quickly found a wiring issue that saved me from buying a new starter and/or solenoid. He checked the whole engine over, answered all my questions, and even gave me his cell number in case we had an issue down the road. I am writing this a week and several locks later, the engine has started every time.

Finally, he came back to the boat just before we had left (I thought he had forgotten a tool) just to give us a list of restaurants in Baldwinsville, because I had mentioned that is where we were heading next.

New docks, brand new laundry facilities, concrete walkways, Pavillion and a courtesy cart. Fresh garden with herbs. Just pretty! Came for one day as we had a solar power issue and stayed 4 days.
Super friendly staff and diesel is 3.20 - 3.40 everywhere and here it is 2.78.

This is the cleanest, most attractive, friendliest, and most satisfying boat yard/marina that I've seen on my trip.

The docks are fixed wooden docks with full aprons, so setting fenders is easy. The docks are in excellent shape. The electric is good. The dock staff is competent and willing to help. The bathrooms are spotless. The wifi is excellent, even far out on the dock. The office staff, Leslie and Maureen, along with the owner, Tom, are friendly and willing to help.

What else can you ask for?
