Nice park. Walked bridge over river to local pub for dinner. Called ahead for slip but didn't need to, only one here. Called dock master, he gave me code for transient laundry and shower facilities which were clean, and drop box for dock fee which is honor system. 30/50 amp electric and water, also self serve pump out. Waterway guide lists this place as having WiFi, they do not.
    Would stay here again

The park is nice...and the walkway across the canal is beautiful!! Don't miss it!!
We were there on Monday also...waterski group practices from 4-8 but they are very nice and entertaining! The leader came over and asked us to put out extra fenders to protect the boat. Was fun watching them get ready for their first ski show of the year that was scheduled later in the week. Lots of trains going by but hardly noticed after awhile. Bathrooms were clean and good. Paybox for the stay is inside by bathrooms. I would stay again if coming thru the area.

The park is nice with room for 8 or 10 boats. I'll echo the other comments and add that we were here on a Monday afternoon and night. There was a waterskiing camp going on all day that threw quite a lot of wake. if you don't mind rocking a bit, the walls are well fendered and it was quite entertaining. Also, since the restaurant was closed, there was no one to pay for the night and no one came to collect. When we arrived, the water level was quite low. The top horizontal fender was almost higher than our caprails (on our boat they are at knee height). During the day and night, the water rose about 4 ft, so the fenders were below our rubrail. Paying attention to boat fender adjustment was important. A local said they were trying to clear debris out of the locks and had lowered the water. They also mow and trim the grass on Mondays, and we got grass clippings blown onto the boat. After saying all that, once the waterskiing was over and the trains stopped for the night, it was a pleasant night.

Just spent 3 nights in Amsterdam NY on the Erie.. it has power, pump out and you can get water. One working connection for dock. Dock holds 8 + boats. Restaurant at dock (Riverlink Park) only open Thursday- Saturday with limited hours. You pay the restaurant staff for your slip. $50.00 was our rate (so I'm guessing a dollar a foot). The town is to the north, I'd avoid it unless you want to go to hardware store…tough times have hit it..they are working on it. The walking bridge across the river takes you to the south side, and we'd recommend the Italian restaurant. Also, you will get waked heavily and unmercifully by the ski show practices if they are the night you are here. I'd say this is ok one night stop not more.

The Riverlink Park at Amsterdam, NY is very nice. It is exceptionally pet friendly. There is a small café/bar in the park that serves a limited menu of bar food and is only open Thursday through Saturday. Access to the town is very easy over a pedestrian walkway, but there is not much to see or do in old town Amsterdam as many of the store fronts are boarded up. The first night we were there the power pedestal did not work and we had to run the generator all night because of the heat and humidity. The second night we moved down the dock and everything was fine. The restrooms, shower and laundry facility are clean and comfortable. The only drawback to the park is that it sits along two very active rail lines. Train noise is very high and the trains blow their horns at the crossing behind the park at all hours of the day and night.

Under new management as of this week. $1/foot, with electric and water. Check in with the staff at Drifters, the onsite restaurant, to pay (cash or check) and get bath/shower/laundry code. Pumpout, no fuel. Very pretty park setting, with trails into town on both sides of the canal. Don't miss the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook, a pedestrian greenway over the river. There is an Ace Hardware just across the train tracks. This is a Wake Zone, where the local water ski team practices and performs on Thursday evenings. Wind and rain kept them off the water during our Saturday night stay. Live music at Drifters went until 11 PM. We liked it here and would return.

We stay one night during 4 of sept. Nobody was there and when I call the marina number, a guy told me that he will come see us. It's never happen. So we had water and electricity but I can't comment for shower and laundry. The restaurant at the Riverlink parc was close. The town is pretty, you have a nice playground for kinds inside the parc. At 20 mimutes walk you have a dollar general and a convenience store.

We stayed here one night. Floating dock is short, one 40ft. We stayed on the high wall which had to horizontal rows of rubber bumpers, which was really nice. Power was 30 amp and was included in the $1/ft per night. No water. Showers, toilet and laundry are included. Park is very nice for walking dogs. The only negative as most of the Erie is the train is literally next door. Contact (518) 384-5621 for dock fees. Restaurant looks nice but was closed

We were fortunate in that there were no water skiiers around this August day because of thunderstorms. So the docks were nice and cheap with nice HD rubber rubrails and power for $1 per foot. Free pumpout. We didn't see much in town where we walked but an Ace Hardware very close. Small bar and sandwich shop with ice cream right at the dock (Drifters). Nice people. Showers and RR's ok. Easy in and out even with current and debris from storms. Tempted to stay one more day for Riverfest but had to keep moving.

Overall excellent. Close to town, some small stores, hardware, dim restaurants.
Spacious grounds picnic benches, shower close. Small bar restaurant ice cream , opens at 3, dock matter is there.
As mentioned, 600 ft dock with high wall, but has ladders where smaller boats can get off and has power. Then room for the more 40+ boats with power at lower dock. 50 and 30 amp. Then a closing dock for one boat with 30amps. Easy docking. Almost no current.
However as mentioned, trains run thru here quite a bit, so if you doing like trains probably not your spot.
Often concerts in the park, tonite is country music.

After a long day from Waterford, this was a great stop, there were four boats at the low wall, so we went back to the high wall which had an inset ladder. Our 25 foot cord was able to get power. Gabe came over from the restaurant and we paid $1.00 per foot for the night. He had a charge machine so we did not have to pay cash. He gave us a shower key. Nice park like setting freshly mowed grass and being a Friday there was a band setting up.
    We would come back anytime.

Was a nice stop especially after being stuck in the rain through 9 locks however this place felt very shady in that they didn't have a radio to call in on so I called the number in the New york canal guide but was given a different number to call which sounded like someone's personal line by the way he answered. He told me the dock guy 'Gabriel' would catch us when we arrived, but Gabriel didn't really have a clue how to tie a boat, then wanted cash only ($1 per ft), refused to give us a receipt because he said his boss isn't there and theres no office. We asked for a key to the bathrooms/showers but he said he didn't have one because he can't access the drop box. I then called the number again but the guy never answered. Several other boaters tried calling him too but the guy never answered them nor called any of us back after leaving messages. It really felt shady and maybe we should have refused to pay like one of the other boats who pulled up after us.

Floating docks were just being put in today May 24. From E to W on the concrete wall, there is room for 3 -4 boats that can handle 7' to the waterline with 2 electric pedestals. Then the concrete slopes down to accommodate 3 more boats (tight) with power and water. The floating dock can handle 2 more boats. It looks like the electric may be available at some time. Cleats are not well spaced. Call the dock master to get a key to restrooms, shower, and laundry. He will come later in the day to collect docking fees.

There is no service!! The only amenities was power. No water that worked near the boat. Only one and needed extra long hose. Would only work for one boat. No one around to check you in ,no sign, number on the web site goes to voice mail. Access to town is across a walking bridge which takes you to a small shopping center which offers nothing except a liquor ,hardware and pizza place. No food deliveries as no one wants to walk over the bridge. Sorry we stopped a big disappointment.

We found Amsterdam Riverlink Park and docks to be a nice place to overnight on our Loop. Yes the train runs by and blows it's whistle, when we docked on a Friday at 1:00 pm the park was full of locals making a day of it which was nice to see. We didn't need fuel, pump out or provisions or a restaurant. We elected to tie up to the floating dock, which is in good condition with heavy cleats. All in all we found the docks affordable, clean, park bench's, tables real nice for overnight stop.

This place is a ghost town on Sundays. No one at the facility, restaurant closed, restrooms locked. Four reasonably clean port-o-poties available. Power and water. Train noise. The walkway "into town" dumps you into an area of strip malls with an Ace Hardware (open limited hours on Sunday) and chicken place (closed on Sunday). We had to walk about 3/4 mile, partly on a highway ramp, through a seriously neglected neighborhood for awful Chinese food. (There was a McDonalds and Stewart's near it; we chose wrong.) We never saw anything resembling a town worth visiting, although architecture along the way was interesting. It might be better during the week, but I'll never be back on a Sunday.

The price is right at $1 foot but the trains are practically running thru your boat every 10 minutes. The water ski practice is nice to watch but the wakes are like being on the ICW on Saturday afternoon for 2 hours straight. Couldn't they do it just a little away from the docked boats? I probably would not recommend to anyone to stop here unless it's there only option. I'm learning that what the guide books recommend is probably not the places I would pick.

We spent 8 days here due to the canal closures. The facilities and park are very good. There is little restaurant on the premises that is open Thurs-Sun. They have water ski show with local kids on Wednesday. If you have a boat less than 40 feet you can get rocked quite a bit during the show or practices. There is a great Ace Hardware and Kennedys Fried Chicken across the walking bridge. Groceries need an Uber.

Very nice place to tie up and spend the night (noisy with the trains though). We had dinner at the restaurant that is run by Dan who also runs the marina. BE CAREFUL though, punks come at night some times and untie your boat. We used a long cable lock I have for the tender and the anchor chain from the tender to lock our boat to the cleats on the wall.
