Floating docks in downtown Peoria. 100 foot face dock to support larger boats. Lots of slips that are 25 and 30 foot long. 100 foot face dock only has 2 30 amp outlets. Everything else is 110V. There are public bathrooms that are open during the day. Great farmers market on Saturday. Lots of parks and paths to walk a dog.

Convenient location just off the Chesapeake. Tight entrance that is very tough with another boat coming out. Docks are in very sad shape. Boards are very rough with lots of holes. Pool had green water. No restaurants on site and no businesses to walk to. Overpriced for what you get. Bathrooms could use more frequent cleaning. Very long walk to get the dog to grass. Very slow WiFi that doesn't make it to the slips. There are many better choices In Hampton for the same price.

Great floating docks. Excellent Dock hands that did a fabulous job of helping us tie up with a strong current. Marina had a small dog park that was very enjoyable. Will definitely stay more than one day next time. Very strong current turning into the marina off the ICW but settles down in the marina. Nice restaurants on site.

Fixed Docks that are pretty hard to get off of a swim platform. Saw 5.5 ft at the turn into the west basin. Entrance to the west basin is very tight. Docks are in good shape with wide walkways. Lounge looks nice but is closed due to Covid-19. Good hardware store across the street and several nice restaurants two blocks away. Lots of spots to walk the dog in the surrounding neighborhood.

$2.50 a foot plus electric for no amenities except small bathrooms with shower. Fixed wood docks. This is a boat storage facility that is using their fuel dock for transients. Outside fuel dock has 2 30 amp connections that can't be combined. It is over 75 feet to a 50 amp connection if you position your boat to get as close as possible. One of Dock hands really cares about the customer. Better options for dockage nearby. Lots of green space to walk a dog.

Very nice areas to walk a dog but due to construction it is a bit of a hike to get to grass. No fuel. We were on the north dock. Very long walk to the bathroom. Loud construction noise from 7 to 4 Monday to Friday. Construction is scheduled to go to 2023. There are two dogs that roam E dock freely and use the dock to do their business. The dogs owner just hoses it into the water. The staff watches this happen but doesn't correct it. We would go back after the construction ends if we were on the south docks.

Overpriced at $2.00/FT. Very tight and shallow entrance. We stayed in the back basin which felt more like a shipyard than a marina. Gravel parking lot and no view. Out front on the fuel pier might be nicer. A small pool out front that looked nice. There were bathrooms but no one gave us the code. Might have wifi but again no one gave us any info. Hard to walk a dog on long gravel spaces to get to some grass.

A very large marina that makes for a long walk off the pier and twice that to get to the office. Fuel was $3.09. Power pedestals need cleaned as do the bathrooms. About 1/2 the bathrooms are out of order. We were charged $20 cash to get a gate key which can't be returned before 0830. If you leave early you have to turn it in the day before and not be able to get back on the pier. All the other marinas we have stayed at have this solved so very disappointing. With the long walk to off the pier they have added two doggie pee stations along the main pier. Areas near the marina have limited grass to walk the dog. Easy layover for starting down the rivers.

Forced to stop at the fuel dock to pick up key and slip assignment. Fuel dock staff didn't catch a line. Two people off a sailboat caught our lines and helped us out while the staff stood there and watched. No help at all getting into our slip. Dock walkway is crowded with people's stuff. Slips are nice and wide. Wide fairways make docking easy but on a windy day a line handler would have been very helpful. Well protected from winds and waves. Lots of large parks that are great for walking a dog.

The marina had us turn off all systems and energize one at a time while they watched to see if they could support the current draw. We stopped when drawing just 12 amps on a 50 amp circuit. The marina is very nice and in lovely condo community. The break wall did not do a very good job. Between winds and jet skis we rocked constantly. The last day with 10 knot winds my wife couldn’t get off the boat. There are some nice places to walk a dog but the condo area and the area just outside the condos have no dogs signs posted.

WG Editor Comment:
Marina Response:
Sorry about the wind Rob. The wind storm gusts during the last day of your stay was stronger than any storms I have experienced during the spring or summer and it was quite an aberration. Even though the sea wall attenuates over 85 to 90% of it, I and the marina board have decided to immediately start revamping ( with much stronger attenuation structures)- that section of wall to offset any future issues with wind there.
*Apologies for not removing the old dog signs down as well. Dogs are welcome and can be walked freely immediately out of the condo gates. I loved meeting you and your wife and feel awful that a few young kids on jet skis docked on your north dock were riding too close to the sea wall. I've already notified their parents and that shouldn't happen again. I appreciate all your feedback, both in person, and on here, and truly hope you will give us a call to stay again in the future. Would love for you to see the great changes we'll have... Have a great summer! - Steve

A very nice marina. Great wide floating docks. A very long sea wall that keep all wakes out. Good fuel prices and a strong pumpout. Prefect staging area to go up the Hudson River. Can see the lights of NYC clearly. Very efficient, friendly and helpful Dock hands. Great restaurants. Lots of green space to walk the dog but could be a problem in the summer as you have to walk across a large paved parking lot.

Very knowledgeable staff that was very helpful. Owner was on the fuel dock overseeing his operation and ensuring all went smoothly. Two Dock Hands used a bow line and current to turn us around as the channel is very narrow. This worked flawlessly as they do this everyday to help boaters have a safe departure.. They really know their business. Tim’s Delaware brief was worth the stop all by itself. Everyone learned a lot and had good plans for the next day. The Cruise was exactly as predicted. We were able to get a repair down quickly with no advance planning at a great price. Lots of nice places to take a dog for a walk. There is a hound dog that patrols the marina yard that barks loudly at everything passing by which can make taking the dog for a walk harder.

Way overpriced for what you get at $3/FT. Bathrooms signs stated cleanliness was not guaranteed and they weren’t that clean. Nice wide docks and helpful dock hands. We were put in slip B10 and with a 10 MPH Southwest wind our 40000 Lb boat was like a bobber. We had to move slips. The sea wall is not protecting the entrance side of the marina. Next to the marina is a very large area that used to be a railroad yard. It has danger signs due to debris and an environmental issue. This makes for a very long walk just to get the dog to a safe spot.
